Those early days of WDW......I honestly can't remember

My first trip was in 1977 when I was 8. We took our kids for the first time in 2002. I remembered HM just like it was. I remember 20,000, I think. Did they make your group stand on a large scale and tell you that the group was a hair over the weight limit and then pull hair from somebody? We went to Silver Dollar City close to that time and I odn't know if the memory is from the right place or not.
The best thing they changed was the straws. I remember my parents having to grab a lot of straws when we had lunch. The straws were paper and we being kids made them fall apart before we could finish.lol I hated those straws.

DH and I went for a belated honeymoon in 98 and rode HORIZONS at EPCOT. I really miss that ride! :( I loved chosing my own ending and loved the fact that DH and I never chose the same one. :scratchin I'm so glad that I have a picture of the two of us out in front kissing. :love2: It was our anniversary and I thought that would be a great momento of a WONDERFUL day! :hyper2:
