Doodlebops! Does anyone know if you can see them anywhere at WDW. We have not been there since my son was born, but he just loves them! I know there is a Playhouse Disney attraction, but who is there? Please help I hate to bring it up to him if we have no chance of seeing them! THANKS! :wave2:

We Haven't Been In Awhile, But All We Saw Is Bear, Stanley, Olie, And I Think That's It. I Know Jojo & Goliath Are Somewhere Else In Studios, But I Don't Think They Are In The Show

We were there this past Feb and the Playhouse show is still centered around Bear in the Big Blue House and friends, and Stanley. I don't remember seeing anything on the info maps or timesheets about Doodlebops, sorry.

I really, really, really dislike those Doodlebops!!! Especially the blue one - he freaks me out! Is that a mop on his head? :confused3

Well, if the kids like 'em that's all that matters, right?

I second that opinion! I want to know who agreed to put these freaks on TV?

My kids are even scared of them. "Mommy, their fingers are WEIRD!"

Disnutt,

Well, I e-mailed Disney Channel about it, and they basically wrote me back saying "sorry for the inconvenience." I have heard of a lot of kids being afraid of them - unfortunately not mine! :rotfl:

Their fingers ARE weird! THEY are weird. That show just isn't up to Disney standards IMO. Glad someone agrees with me. :cheer2:

I really wonder about this show as well. What exactly is it supposed to be teaching children? It really isn't up to Playhouse Disney standards. I can find trash like this on many stations already. BTW, it's a very new show so it's not going to be at WDW and there won't be any merchandise for at least a year if it lasts that long.

for some reason my kids like it too. But I totally agree that there is no educational value in that show at all. And the red guy that pulls the rope to get wet every episode? Yeah, that's really teaching good things!

Ahhrrggg! I cannot stand those Doodlebops. They freak me out. My 3 year old loves them, but fortunatey, she is allowed very little TV. I can usually persuade her to let me put in a DVD if they are on when she asks for Playhouse Disney.

My kids also don't like the fact that you can see the outline of the body mask thing that makes their body skin a different color. It looks like their faces are popping out of their skin like a snake.

The one thing I can say that's positive is that the characters must have had some REALLY good teeth whitening done. Even with all that makeup on their teeth look nice and white.

I'm also opening myself to flames (flamers) here but I can't wait until Jerry Falwell sees this one. If he thought Tinky Winky was a threat to children's morals that blue guy is gonna make his head explode. :rotfl:

YES, that is SO creepy!!!!

ROFLMBO! :rotfl2:

Yeah, what is that all about? And while we're talking about Moe or Mo or whoever he is, what is it with copying the Wiggles? We were watching for the first time, and they did this whole "Where's Moe?" bit. Even my 3-yr-old looked at me and said, "Mommy! That's just like 'Where's Jeff?'!"

It irks me that they put this garbage on in the Wiggles time slot, too. That did NOT make my DD happy. :rolleyes1

I agree, but DD loves them. She sits mesmerized and she dances when they do their songs. Maybe thats the attraction. Nick has a show like that too, Lazy Day or something. It reminds me of the same thing. It's wierd, but it keeps her busy for a little while who could argue with that?! ;)

See, now that's funny - I love LazyTown on Nick Jr! So do my girls. Doodlebops is just TOO weird. But I agree with you, Tinkerbellmom, if the kids like it, and it keeps them busy for awhile, it's all good.

hello, my almost 2 year old loves the doodlebops! or boodleops as she says. i can't stand them. they creep me out. i'm glad other people feel the same way! hope they don't last too long. she also loves higglytown hero's. anyone know if they sell any higgly stuff? we can't find anything anywhere. thanx! :earboy2:

On the creepy tv scale it goes
1.) THE BURGER KING
2.) Doodlebops
