Those darn stubborn pounds! EDIT - GOAL!!!

I had a goal to lose twenty pounds before our trip. If you look at my countdown you'll see how close we are to leaving. I thought for sure I'd make it - I've had only two more pounds to lose, but DARN if they won't go away. UGH! I've been stuck it seems forever. I know two pounds isn't much, but I was just so determined to meet that goal before we left. I want that twenty pound clippie!!! :bounce: OK, I'm done venting.... :teeth:


EDIT - Ya'll must have sent me some major pixie dust cause this morning I got on the scale and those two pounds were gone! I probably got on and off the scale ten times cause I couldn't believe it! I had to choose between the twenty pound or the goal clippie and I opted for the latter. :teeth:
I wanted to lose those twenty pounds I had gained back from my original forty pound loss before our trip and I did it! Now all my summer clothes fit. (I had let it go this past winter and boy did I gain fast!)

Don't give up! Those 2 pesky pounds could just disappear overnight! :hyper:
 
Shan - you've got a little over a week. Anything can happen in that timeframe, don't give up! The woosh fairy may just pay you a visit. Try uping your exercise, or drinking more water. You can do it!!!! :)

I know how difficult 2 pounds can be. You are doing terrific! Keep at it and those pounds will dissapear.

Just think........at least you have lost almost 20 pounds. You made the decision to learn a healthy new lifestyle. So many people who will be walking around WDW will not be so lucky! You are going on vacation 18lbs lighter and so much wiser, smarter and healthier.

Great job!
 

Have some Orange Roughy. I'm not kidding. It'll go right through you, taking the pounds with it!

I'm willing to hang out in the bathroom for a bit if it will get me losing again. ;) Course, if it is anything like when I ate one of those Carbolite bars I might have to pass! I was having pains like I was about to give birth! (OK, too much info!)
 
want my cheater recipe? I usually do this on Mondays after a bad weekend......

breakfast: one packet of instant oatmeal (any kind)

lunch:a bag of microwave kettlecorn (has to be kettle, only 120 cals in the whole bag)

dinner: anything sensable.

Dont forget the water.

I feel full all day and its usually good for a few pounds off by the next day. But its totally cheating and not meant for days on end.
 
Shan - you did it!!! Congratulations in reaching your 20 pound loss and more importantly getting to goal! I am so proud of you!!! Woohoo!!!!! You must feel great. Now could you send some of those good vibes my way? I need a good 2 or 3 pound loss this week! :)

Maybe we'll run into each other on our trips. I'm gonna try and go get a lime green ribbon. Hopefully, though you won't catch me being bad and eating a Dole Whip! :eek:
