It's taken me all this time to get HER out of my head, and you just HAD to go and bring it up again!!!
I only object when someone like HER wears a thong.
If someone looks good, it doesn't bother me. Makes me JEALOUS, but doesn't bother me. It's just a butt, after all. We all have one.
I suspect that most people truly only object or dislike them because, like me, they're jealous.

I've seen one lady w/ a thong on and I'm thinking it was by the Mickey Pool. The WORST was the two little girls from Brazil that were wearing them. They were probably 5 and 7. Very disturbing.

As far as the kids seeing them...my 2 and 5 year olds would probably laugh and say, "Look at that lady's DUPA!!!"

Yup, saw the infamous "repo thong" too. Other than that, have only seen 'em once or twice on DCL but the Disney water parks are teeming with...uh, bathing suit "exposure" all summer. I've always figured it's due to the high number of foreign guests who aren't quite as inhibited as Americans.

You talking about on Tortola? I didn't see any of the women topless (didn't look onboard that ship) but I did see plenty of men wearing Speedos on our excursion to Virgin Gorda.

We actually had 2 on the 2008 repo cruise. Both at the adult pool but I am still in the inappropriate camp for a ship crammed full of kids.

On the Magic last week I did notice one woman wearing a thong bathing suit. She was with her kids at the Mickey pool.

Caught me by surprise to be honest.

Did not notice any men wearing anything like that.

That has to be the same one I saw. I also saw a woman last year on CC with one. I am pretty sure she was from another country.

Thanks for all the replies! I never laughed so hard! ..... As for what one poster wrote..."We all have one." Well, honestly.... some people shouldn't wear them (thongs) due to the fact they not only have one butt... they may very well have 2 or 3 or 4 butts! Yikes !!! LOL .... Seriously, I enjoyed reading the replies. I also agree with another poster... pictures would have made things even better, maybe gross, butt better! LOL (Notice the play on words???)
