Nobody is hallucinating. Male sheer underwear for sale, if anyone wants some.

Jeepers.

Always learning new things on the DIS...not always stuff I want to know. But knowledge is never a bad thing...I guess.

That cross your parts ad underneath seems made up to me...would anyone really wear that?

I think the problem with a thong is that it does not stop your bits from jiggling. When you see somebody getting jiggly that has to be intentional

Or as a friend once said "like 2 cats fighting in a sack"

:rotfl:

I know someone who wears thongs with her dress pants to avoid panty lines but her cheeks are jiggling all over the place. Honestly, I'd rather see a panty line than that.

OK, male type ramble here...Why, oh why, do you women folk make yourselves so uncomfortable just to do something that you perceive to look good. You do realize that men will accept you regardless of your appearance don't you?

Yes, I know the fashion people have drilled it into your heads that if you don't wear a thong (can't have those panty lines) or heals (must have nice looking calves) or push up bra's (can't have the girls not at attention) you will not be attractive to men (or women, sorry didn't mean to be inclusive there) and will die a lonely old woman surrounded by a hundred cats.

Trust me when I tell you the only place a man wants to see underwear, shoes or bra's is on the floor. (if you get my drift) Frankly they don't care what kind they are at that point or previous to that, for that matter.

My point...life is short, don't be uncomfortable all through it, just for vanity.

I dress for myself. I like to look nice. My husband couldn't care less what I'm wearing so I certainly don't do it for him, but I'd definitely rather look nice, neat, put to gether, and at least moderately in style than look frumpy, dishevelled, and have a basic overall look of "I don't care". I have pride in myself so I do care. I'm very very rarely uncomfortable and I wear heels AND thongs! *gasp*

But how does more cloth keep bits from jiggling? I figure if it's going to jiggle, it's going to jiggle, unless you wear extra strength control underwear.

I'm not quite sure why it would be any "trashier" to wear them in a dress than with jeans. Personally I think if you can visibly see up someone's skirt, spying a thong is no trashier than spying full coverage underwear. Someone can see up your skirt - the damage is done! :lmao: If it's just pantyline you see through a dress, I personally have no judgments whether the pantyline is thong or full coverage. Some people just don't care and some don't realize that you can sometimes still see a line with a thongj; I notice the line if I happen to glance at someone but don't think much of it.

I can't think of a reason to wear thong underwear if not to try to avoid pantylines, so it would be very odd for me to wear them with jeans just for fun. I just don't think they're comfortable, so I don't wear them. If you can see a pantyline with what I'm wearing, I skip the "unders" (what we call them in my family) altogether. :) I'm not wearing anything too terribly clingy so no one is the wiser.

I hate to say this ladies but you do not eliminate VPL with a thong. You now just have VTL. (visible thong lines!) If you want no lines then go commando. Oh- and who cares what you wear under your skirt or dress? Why is anyone looking up your dress to check?:confused3
