We have just upgraded our Thomson flight (booked through Thomas Cook) from Economy to Premium and are wondering whether anybody can give us any info at all on the sort of service to expect, as all the reviews we have read have been terrible! :sad2: Also, there appears to be limited information on Thomson's Premium seat pitch on the internet, and apparently even Thomson staff are unsure on just what the seat pitch is! Can anybody help??

Sorry to say but we upgraded to Thomson Premium in May and it was the pits!!! It's not worth any extra money !!!!

We couldn't tell the difference between our seats and economy apart from on the flight home , where ours were leather but not on the way there. No seat back TVs, we had to sit with our tables down to balance a hand held thing!!

It didn't bother us too much but there was no partician like they advertise.

I actually wrote a letter of complaint to Thomson about it but got nowhere. Watch out, because on our flight there were empty seats within the so called 'Premium' cabin and outbound after takeoff the crew brought their family and friends into the empty seats. Perk of the job - not a problem - except our service suffered. They were first with meals, first to have their trays taken away (we waited 45min!!!) ploughed with free drinks even when we had been told the bar was shut!!! I was not a happy bunny!!!!

On the return flight, normal passengers asked if they could move into the empty premium seats and were allowed, so they got this free of charge - I was fuming!!!!!

Trying not to spoil it too much but on the positive side, they are apparently upgrading their planes and premium cabins but this is not due to be completed until next year. I hope you are lucky and get one that has already been done! Also, you get 30kg of luggage which is always a plus!!

I have upgraded with TCD - first & upper deck, First Choice and Thomson and unfortunately, Thomson dont come in the same league!!! First Choice would be my First Choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although trying Virgin PE in January.

If you have any further questions, give me a shout and one thing I remember is it doesnt matter how you get there - you are going to the most magical place on earth!!!!!!!!!!!
