Thomas Cook flights

Were flying from manchester with them for the first time on August 22nd as long as it gets me to Florida I'm happy and price much cheaper than Virgin !

Totally agree, I'm sure I won't care come the 6th Sept :)

How much will it then cost to go from Miami to Orlando? That might negate any savings.
sorry that should have been £1000 cheaper !!! well worth the drive but we had a road trip in our plans so its not a issue anyway , it was one of our planned stops en -route

We've just flown back with TC from MCO to Man in their premium cabin. The flight was okay but not as good as what Virgin offer for PE. The price difference however was huge!

We are using them in October, less that £400 return for flight to Miami is a no brainier. Cruise the day after arrival them we will make our way up to Orlando for second week via Clearwater

Flew tc last Thursday, economy. Plenty of leg room& seat area, although bottom ached somewhat. Staff were great, friendly, efficient. Food must say I do quite like aircraft food but this was by far the best yet. Even dh liked it. The other thing I liked was the toilets, weird I know but there were downstairs, which meant you didn't stand over people in the aisles, 4-5 of them together, didn't have to queue the whole flight.
The negatives were - no online checkin. We arrived at airport at 7.50 and didn't get through for breakfast till9.20, firstly, we queued an age to check in, we were advised to go threw security via left side to save time but after getting 1 set of hand luggage, the other two went for additional checking so we had to queue again. The system had faulted, hence another 15 mins. Just had time to grab meal deals from boots for breakfast then we had to board. Not the relaxing start we'd hoped for but the flight was great and we only paid £420 each.

Stephensmum hope the rest of your trip went well. Flight sounds as I expected, I must say I'm at a point of just wanting to get there so will deal will what ever is thrown at us

Yes, thanks it's brilliant. The other thing I meant to say is the tv systems, you have to pay £4 for upgrade of movie package and £6 for earphones that are just adult size. Ds had his own earphones & weupgraded his movies, it was worth it as he enjoyed the films all the way. Try to take your own ear phones the chap next to us had an adapter which meant him and his son could share.

I had a low expectation of the flight but was quite impressed. We were very quick through immigration.

We got back on Monday, Thomas Cook to Miami. Super flight, plenty of legroom(economy), food delish(genuinely!), loved the afternoon tea before we landed outbound. We are a family of 4, did not book our seats and had 2/2 seats both ways, one row behind the other, super. No queue at departures(did check in 3 1/2 hours before flight) at either airport. Would definitely use them again for direct flights.

I booked with Thomas Cook when I went last September. We flew economy, the food was good compared to other plane food, I enjoyed the film/TV selection and there was plenty of legroom! I'd definitely use them again.

The only con was seat selection. My fiancé and I didn't prebook our seats so, on the outbound flight, we weren't supposed to sit anywhere near each other. (Luckily two lovely flight attendants persuaded two passengers to upgrade to premium economy, so I was able to move. We even ended up having a spare seat.) Obviously this could've been avoided if we'd paid more attention to TC's policy so it was our own fault, but still kind of resented paying £30 each for the privilege of sitting together!
