Hi

I just wondered if anybody has flown on Thomas Cook recently and if so apart from the inflight meal do you get any other drinks etc. haven't flown with them before but even with paying for meals was far cheaper than virgin, just hoping we've done the right thing as we go in 10 weeks! Thanks in advance x

Hi,
We flew with them 2 years ago and it was fine, you pay for your drinks, but get a meal etc as is the norm. The in- flight entertainment was ok,you paid for an upgrade(think around £5) and i would advise you to bring ipads/kindles etc to pass the time if you don't take the upgrade.Leg room was good but flight attendants were a little less attentive than other airlines....all in all, not a bad choice..oh yes tip for the plane , take the headphones with you as they charge on the return flight!

Same goes for me too. Travelling from lgw in march just wondering on ife etc for the flight

Thanks, what is the upgrade for ? Have to be honest when we flew Virgin the last few occasions the flight attendants weren't the happiest! Will defo take the tip on iPads and kindles! Thanks x

I'm guessing the upgrade of the ife is the ability to start films playing on demand, a few extra channels and music. A bit like what u get in premium on Thompson.

Least there is something to watch. Although I am assuming the seat back screens are still there. I know I have heard stories that they were being removed. These could of jus be rumours..
Just Have to make sure the iPad etc are charged up
