I put the money on in august, we went to disney at xmas, early december I went to add more money to card and was told balance was zero, I checked my account and was told about the 13 attempts to obtain more money, NOT by travelex, but the bank in tesco, when I contacted travelex the first response was well its been 60 days so we cant do anything about it, they have to this day never told me why after 13 failed attemps sometimes 2 on the same day they never contacted me. I'm like a dog with a bone I wont let this go its a matter of principal now, I informed travelex I would go on every forum on the net where I saw any questions about pre paid cards and let everyone know what a comletely useless company this is.
You may also want to contact The Times. There is a really good article every Saturday about financial problems people face from a consumer point of view. I haven't bought myself a paper for some months now and the name completely slips my mind at this time, but it will not only get you some publicity but also a bit of free representation as the guy who does it generally contacts the service provider.
