As everyone knows the crowds in June start to pick up. We just got back from our Dis. trip on June 17 from a seven day stay. Here is what worked for us as far as crowds.
The morning extra hours worked out fine but the parks did get fairly crowded early. The extra evening hours was quite a bit more crowded. During the late afternoon hours and early evening, which ever park had the extra evening hours was a mad house. The resort guess was showing up for the extra hours and the nonresort guess had not left yet. What worked good was go to one of the parks like Epcot that wasn't having extra hours and stay there untill closing. The ride lines were very short. Then go late to the park that was having the extra hours. By doing it that way I only had to use my fastpass three times all week. My longest waits was Everest 40 min, Soarin 40 min. mission space 20 min.
Hope this is helpful.

we always avoid the park with extra magic hours. we also never go to MK on mondays.

I'm right there with you on this .

We hit the EMH morning park until 12 or 1

Then hit the resort or waterpark for the afternoon and a rest ( Nap for old people)

Then a non EMH park normally the one that has EMH in the morning as people going in the morning don't want to be there that night. ( We hit different rides and shows at Night as aposed to the daytime so it works for us)

Then we stroll over to EMH as non resort guess are leaving.and close them down

I agree, MK seems to be best on Wed.

We are coming in Dec. and since the parks close earlier during the time we travel, we thought we would partake of the EMH's to make the most of our time. We are also planning to do the MVMCP one night, should we do this just once or do it twice?

we stay offsite and try to avoid the extra hour parks. It seems like our plan has worked the past two trips.

Wow, we were there the same week as you. Good idea for next time.

Do you still have to get your MH bracelet at a certain time (I think it was like 4:00 or so) right in the park that it is used for that evening? I know that last August when we were there this is how it was done. I think your idea of avoiding the evenings at the MH park until the later hours is great, and just wondered how they are distributing these bracelets now, or do they do something else this year other than the bracelets? I wish they would let you get them at the resort guest services anytime during that day, I think that would work out better for us, and I remember a few years ago that this was how it was done :) TIA

I'm "bumping this post" again to see if anyone out there who just came home from WDW can answer my question about the MH bracelets and how they are distributed to resort guests?????? ( See my post above for clarity of my ? ) Can anyone out there help me? I think the OP had a great tip, but not sure how to work in the obtaining of the bracelet :) TIA :)

P.S. Love the DIS  and how I'm finding answers to questions I didn't even know I had!
