I finished the second one (with assistance) before I did the first one, and I thought the second one was easier since there were more things to find. I tried to solve both by myself, but I couldn't figure it out, so I used spoilers on a website.

There was a Nitendo game from the UK back in the early 90's alot like this called Dizzy. Same principle of needing objects & combination of objects to accomplish tasks. We loved that game & used to play with friends to try to figure it out.
