This wait is killing me!

ROFR stands for Right of First Refusal. Each time a member sells their points, Disney has the right to buy them at the same terms the current buyer is offering. They do this to keep the resale prices at a respectable level and make certain that the DVC is not being undervalued. It has been taking anywhere from a week to two to pass ROFR. We submitted on 8/18 and are still waiting!:rolleyes1 We can't wait to get on with the process and close so we can start planning!:woohoo:

Thank You :)

Woohoo! Just got an e-mail for TSS. We passed ROFR! We are proud DVC (1st time!) members at BWV. Now all we have to do is wait for the closing documents...but that's ok, I'll be patient because I know that within a month or so, everything will be over and done with!

Congratulations!
To me, the wait is so much easier after you pass ROFR...although I'm still anxious to be able to book our first vacation as DVC members!

Never thought we would hear anything on Labor Day, but we just got a voicemail from Jaki, our resale agent, and we passed RORF today! We submitted late on 8/18. I am so happy we can get on to the next stage...closing. I have a vacation to plan. lol:dance3:
