Yay!

Woohoo!!!:dance3: :yay: :dance3: :yay: :dance3: :yay: Trying to catch up everywhere but had to give ya a:woohoo:

Nothing to catch up on here! Just rambling!

YAY for October! I LOVE being able to say I'm going this month!!

24 days!

I just need to vent right now...my mom's going to be here in a minute and I need to vent so I'm in a better mood when she gets here!

I discovered today that one of my client's fathers has tampered with my car a few times when I've been inside the house doing physical therapy with his daughter. This mans runs an (illegitimate) car repair business out of his garage. I thought it strange that the only time my (2004) car has troubles is after I leave that house. Several things have happened shortly upon leaving that house. I have been somewhat suspicious for a while now. Today, something happened that absolutely confirmed my suspicions. The worst part is that I gave him 58 dollars (all the cash I had in my wallet) to fix the problem that I later discovered he created. All in all, this man has cost me upwards of 600 dollars, not to mention time lost at work, which is even more money. And valuable PT time for my clients.

To me, money isn't the main issue here. It's the fact this man has shaken my faith in my fellow man a little bit. I am generally a very trusting person. Today, not so much.

In the end, I called my boss, told her the situation, and told her I will not be treating his daughter anymore. I'm not sure if I'll call the police or not. If he's crazy enough to do what he's already done, he's probably crazy enough to do something if I call the police.

What is up with people?!:confused3 Mickey, take me away!

The good news is that my mom is going to arrive in 5 minutes for a week-long visit.

And I'm going to Disney World in 24 days!:yay: :woohoo: :cheer2:

Oh my gosh!!! That is horrible. I don't blame you one bit for not going back. Personally, I would get the police involved. If he has the nerve to do that to you - someone who is helping his child - what has he done to others??? :confused3 Good luck with whatever you decided to do.

Have a great time with your mother.

SwansLoveDisney , so sorry to hear about what happened. I am glad you figured out he was doing this to you and told your boss.

I agree with mvazul, he needs to have the police called on him. He will not stop until he is warned or punished.

I am so happy your Mom is there, hug her like there is no tomorrow and have a great time.

Julie! That's crazy. I can't believe the nerve of someone you're trying to help! Maybe child protective services - I mean he is interferring with getting adequate help for his child. Your agency should refuse to help him after this.

Oh well, at least you're going to WDW!!!:dance3:

That is awful! I understand why you are scared but I also think the police should be notified.

Its a great time for a visit from mom!:goodvibes

Thanks everyone for the kind words. My mom's first night was good. So good to have her here!

So I'm pretty sure we are going to contact the police. This is so crazy. I've never been involved in anything like this before.

My boss said that the agency will never send anyone to that house again and that she is going to notify the division of developmental disabilities so other agencies can be aware of what is happening there.

I am just so sick about the fact that this man is jeopardizing his daughter's therapies. It took them 2 years on a waiting list to find a PT and now they are going to be out of a PT again.

Anyways, thanks for listening and for the advice, everyone. I'll let you know what happens after this.

Oh, one more thing...this man may or may not be an illegal alien...so that's a whole other can of worms.

I dont understand ....why whould he do something likethis?? Does he have a problem with you?? Or is it simply so he can have you pay him to fix the problems he causes?? Either way its pretty screwed up and I too am glad that your mom is coming to visit- hopefully it will give you something else to focus on for a while.

I have NO CLUE why he would do this! I don't know what he could possibly have against me. I am pretty sure it was for money. My mom (a mental health nurse) said that she thinks he is jealous of all the attention his daughter gets and he feels like less of a man because he is an at-home dad. So she thinks he wanted to look like a hero by being able to fix my car all the time. That's her psychological perspective.

You are right...it is pretty darn screwed up!

Well, my mom helped to lift my mood some today...she bought me a pair of Alice Crocs!

I've been visiting a pair of them at Dillards for a couple months now. I told my mom about it and she bought them for me while she was shopping today!

Also, I asked my mom if she would like to drive to Disneyland this weekend (probably a 5.5 hour drive) and she said no! What?!?

I was just looking at Alice crocs today-they are really cute.:thumbsup2

What?! Not interested in Disney this weekend?I'd go...:confused3

New Crocs! YAY! I'll drive with ya! I just got the ShopNHL catalog and saw that they had Bruins Crocs so I know what will be part of Pierre's Christmas gift! He has Patriots crocs and got alot of comments on them while we were in Disney. He has worn them down big time in about 3 months!

I've been wearing the Alices all weekend. I love them! I got a couple little areas of rubbing that may turn into blisters. But that's nothing some body glide and/or moleskin won't change.

I saw all the sports teams Crocs, and I was thinking I should get DH some Bears crocs for Christmas. Maybe then he would actually wear some!

Aw I'm so sorry to hear what has been going on with your car. I can't believe the level some people go to. You should really call the police because who knows who else hes done this to.

In a more happier note its almost time for you to go to Disney!!!! :woohoo: :cool1: :yay: :dance3: You must be getting so excited now! So close!!

Well, my mom is just packing up and getting ready to head to the airport. :sad2:

We had a great week and weekend. We did a lot of shopping. And some sightseeing. We went to an Oktoberfest. And we went to a wild west town.

The next time I will see my mom will be at Christmas. I can't wait for Christmas. The past 2 Christmases, we have been with DH's family on the west coast. So I'm thrilled that this one will be with my family!

In Disney news, I bought 3 pairs of shoes for Disney World this weekend. :scared1: Of course, 2 of them need to go back. They're all trail running shoes, which should be good for walking at Disney. So in my shoe arsenal, I now have my Alice Crocs (which I love), Cayman Crocs (still can't get over how big they look), trail running shoes, comfy flip flops, and my trusty running shoes (gotta do my half marathon training while I'm there). HOpefully, I can convince myself to leave it at that! Why would I need more than 5 pairs of shoes for 5 days? :confused3

I also bought some new things to put in the bags for my trip-mates! I'll take pics later and post them. One of the things is pretty dang funny if I do say so myself!
