This time we did it right! (Updated 3/2!)

Blaize really is a cutie!! I bet he is a good baby too...he just looks like one. I hope to get a good baby someday hahaha. Did you notice the one pic where he is sucking on his two fingers. My 15 mo old newphew does that only, his two fingers are backwords. I still don't get how he does it but I guess his hands are a lot more flexible than mine.
I'm guessing a dole whip too. Looking foward to more reading.

I can't believe I left your report for so long. What great installements already! Blaize is adorable!! And those glasses are hilarious. :D ToT is my absolute favorite ride too!

Great update! Little pumpkin Blaize is too cute! :lmao:

I'm also guessing a Dole Whip... I still haven't had one! I'm definitely looking forwar to hearing the answer...

If you were in Frontierland still...a turkey leg?

If in Adventureland....a Dole Whip?

Did you knock over any kids on the way to Space Mountain? 10 points if you did...;)

The little pumpkin, Blaize, is an absolute cutie.

Ding Ding Ding! One of your guesses is correct. And let's just say I have a serious aversion to eating meat off bones.

I had a very strong urge to knock kids over on the way to Space Mountain. But dirty looks just had to suffice because I wasn't about to get myself kicked out of that joint!

Your favorite little punkin is just too cute! I love the hat! Good job on getting the "sneaky pics" - just like Jordan! Good training for Blaize :thumbsup2

He is so cute...I agree!

Blaize is so stinking cute! Love the pics of him and the one of Beth and Jason with the Mickey ears on. Your reaction shot came out great too, didn't the Halloween decorations look awesome?! Makes me want to go back again. I'm going to guess that you had a Mickey Head iceceam :confused3

The Halloween decorations were excellent. I still love the Christmas decorations the best, though!

Good guess, and I did have 2 of those Mickey head ice creams on my trip, but it's not my fave!

Blaize is soo cute! His pumpkin costume is much cuter than his Prof. Plumb costume. :rotfl2:

Sounds like a great start to the day at MK - you have done so much!!

I'll never feel the same way about It's a Small World again! :rotfl:

We did get a lot done at MK...it was great!

Hi!:goodvibes Sorry about being MIA around here.I just read the last three updates and they were great.:thumbsup2 You got alot done and seem to be having a blast.Blaize is too cute for words.

Sorry to hear you were sick and glad you are feeling better.

My guess is a Dole Whip...popcorn::

Don't worry about being MIA...I've been slacking too!

You might be right about my favorite treat!

Blaize is SUCH a good baby...dangerously good...he makes me want to have a baby!

You might be right about my favorite snack!

Yay for ToT!

Thanks for reading again! :goodvibes

Thank you for being patient!

The answer is coming up soon!

Just a little update on my non-Disney life...

Things have been so crazy around here. I just realized that we have either traveled or had visitors 9 out of the past 11 weekends! I love my family and friends, but we're ready to have a break from the visitors. I've hardly had time to wash the sheets on the guest bed in between visitors. In fact I didn't wash them between last weekend and this weekend because we've had the same visitor two weekends in a row!

DH's grandma was diagnosed with lung cancer. :sad1: She was a smoker for 50 years. She had half of her lung removed a week and a half ago and just came home from the hospital a couple days ago. She sounds like she's doing incredibly well, though, and we're going to go to their house for Thanksgiving, so we'll be able to check on her. She's a very tough woman and I'm sure this is so hard on her. I can't even imagine.

In other news, we went to our church fall festival today and played bingo. I played so many times and won NOTHING. My friends showed up about an hour after DH and I, and they won twice! They won Yahtzee and a Sedona Spa gift pack. Those bums!

Okay, that's all...I'm going to work on my next installment.

My favorite treat in the whole World is...

a Dole Whip!

Beth, Jason, Sarah, and I all got a Dole Whip float and promptly fell in love.

I absolutely hate this picture of me, but it's my first taste of this delicious concoction:

After our initial tastes of heaven, we headed over to Swiss Family Treehouse. I love Swiss Family Treehouse. As a kid, I was obsessed with the notion that my dad could build us a treehouse like that! And it's still fun to imagine.

And eating a Dole Whip while perusing the Swiss Family Treehouse = :cloud9:

After Swiss Family Treehouse, it was time to use our Splash Mountain fastpasses. Surprisingly, it was STILL warm and sunny outside, so we were all feeling ready for a little splash.

Sarah and I went first. I put my raincoat around my booty and zipped it in the front, then put my poncho on. We had ADRs at Fulton's for lunch and I did NOT want to have a wet booty for lunch! Sarah just put her raincoat on normally, with no poncho. I told her about my method, but she thought she'd be okay. We'll see...:rolleyes1

I absolutely  the drop on Splash Mountain, but the part of the ride leading up to it takes WAY too long. The anticipation becomes too much to bear!

I hardly got a drop of water on me due to my super rain protection. Sarah's booty got pretty wet. I don't like to say "I told you so", but...

Beth and Jason were next. I gave Beth my raincoat and told her about my method.

I got to hang out with my favorite pumpkin again while mom and dad were on Splash Mountain. I just love that kid!

Beth and Jason both came out pretty dry from Splash Mountain. At this point, Beth and Jason had to bring Blaize back to grandma at AKL and we had a 2:30 ADR for Fulton's Crab House at Downtown Disney. So it was time to leave Magic Kingdom. It was a wonderful morning.

On our way out of the park, Beth, Jason, and Blaize visited the baby center.

I came across this window, which I adored.

We also saw this on the way out. I loved it!

Rather than go with Beth and Jason, Sarah and decided to take the bus over to Downtown Disney so we could get our shop on before lunch.

Up to this point, we had great experiences with the buses. Well, that was about to change!

I asked a cast member the best way to get to DTD. She said we should take the monorail over to the Contemporary, then take a bus from there over to DTD. Sounds easy enough.

So we took the monorail over to the Contemporary and we could not find the buses! Rather than ask cast members, we asked visitors where the buses were (brilliant, right?) and we were told the wrong location by not one, not two, but THREE different people.

Well, we FINALLY found the buses when we asked a cast member where they were. Why didn't we think of that before?!?

Once we actually found the buses, we waited about 10 minutes for the bus to come. Then, the bus stopped at 2 other places before going to Downtown Disney. Finally we arrived at Downtown Disney with 15 minutes to spare before lunch! We had left MK one hour and 15 minutes earlier!

We made a beeline for World of Disney and looked around a bit. I fell in love with a Mickey Mouse ring in that store. I decided I would purchase it after lunch. When we emerged from World of Disney 13 minutes later, we saw that it had POURED while we were inside. The ground was soaked, with puddles everywhere and everyone outside had their ponchos on. Luckily, we dodged that rain.

Up next: Lunch at Fulton's, Are adults allowed on the AKL waterslide?, and grazing around the World

I think I'll say this a million times, but that baby is a cutie.

I hear that clock ticking......nah...no kids for me.......hmmm........

In 16 years of going to WDW and a few years of hearing the praises on WDW fan sites, I still have yet to enjoy a Dole Whip.....:confused3

The best part about a baby swap is getting to cuddle the baby!!

WOD is very hard to leave empty-handed! I hope you were able to get back for more shopping....

Kathy

Yeah! :yay: So happy to have your update! Sorry to hear about your DHs grandma. I'm glad she came through her surgery okay. Hope she keeps getting stronger!

That Dole Whip looks so good! I can't believe I FORGOT to have one in June :scared1: I will put it at the top of my list this June for DL!

I've never gotten wet on SPLASH - other than a few drops on my shoulders. I didn't believe that it happens - thought it was just a fear from people who hadn't ridden before....:confused3 Now that I said that...:umbrella:

Sorry about your bus fiasco - we had that problem throughout our stay - next time, we rent a car!

Anxiously waiting your next installment!

You must get a Dole Whip on your trip (if you like pineapple, that is!). I know so many people say this, but it was amazing. And the float, with the pineapple juice...truly heavenly!

About the clock ticking, another of my friends had a baby last week. And another one told me she is pregnant yesterday. It's making me crazy! Must resist!

I definitely enjoyed the baby swap!

World of Disney was a little overwhelming for me...too much to look at! And of course I wanted EVERYTHING!

Do they have Dole Whips at DL too? If so, that's another reason I need to get over there!

I've definitely gotten wet on splash...mostly my feet and my booty!

We had a rental car on our trip, but we didn't use it all the time...lesson learned!

Great update! The Dole Floats look delish! I have to try one next time!

Yes, you have to try one!

I haven't seen the Dole Whip at DL, but UtahMama mentioned it in her TR !
It is apparently in AL - I will be on a quest for one next time! :thumbsup2

The Dole Whip looks good, I didn't try one but will have to one day. I'm not a juice drinker but am certainly an icecream eater! I thought the doll display was really cool too. Can't exactly say I'm with you on the Splash drop! :scared: Making note of your raincoat/poncho idea.....

Sorry to hear about your DH's grandma :grouphug:.

Great update, that baby is G o r g e o u s!! I love those cheeks, how lucky were you to get to spend time with him. I didn't get a dole whip either this trip :sad1:. Hey, that is another reason to go back, right??

Sorry I have been comment MIA lately. I'm all caught up now :thumbsup2

That baby is the cutiest thing I have seen all dressed up in his pumpkin outfit. So wicked cute!

Sorry you had such a hard time with the busses to DTD but glad you made it on time. Can't wait to hear about your lunch!

Just finished your whole trippie so far. Love your pics and Blaize is just adorable!! I really have to convince DH to stay at AKL sometime.
