This time our son is coming too! Final update at last!

congrats Pooksma on your groups achievements (and yours too)

Yes, bragging is completly allowed on the Dis! Way to go :thumbsup2

Congratulations pooksma!!! :thumbsup2

Love the shirts too. I've been avoiding disneyshopping.com. I know it will suck me in and now that I've entered planning mode for December I just have an excuse!

The pics of your DS with Tigger & Pooh are ADORABLE. I am very tempted to book this just for similar pics...

We love the Ohana breakfast-the pineapple bread and "Stitch Juice" are big favs with DS.

We are actually considering B&C for a meal. Is it better to go for early supper (5ish) or late lunch (1:30) do you think?

I have no idea what time is better...! Sorry! We did a late dinner and had to wait for about 45 minutes. It's right next to the arcade, so lots of blinkly lights to entertain a 1 year old. ;)

I've heard if you go right when it opens it is generally the best time...but I would also think a late lunch would work well since many people are back in their rooms napping.

My Drama group won 9 awards, including Outstanding Production! The three of us who directed also won Outsanding Teacher Directors. Many students were recognized and we are very proud of them all for a great team effort.

(Sorry-had to brag on that one!)

Brag on! Congratulations to you and all of your co-workers and students!
A lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes before you bring home any kind of award.

Crystal Palace is a good one. We had good food and good character interaction, and we're starting our July trip with a repeat!

I keep telling her it is time to start her own theatre company. This isn't the first time they have cleaned up at this festival.

She is my favourite director.

So, we're leaving the 10th, but early. When on the 9th are you getting in and what's your plan? :goodvibes We should meet up if we can. :thumbsup2

We're possibly meeting with MeMom and co at the beginning of the trip. :woohoo:

I just read through you report and everything sounds great! I was excited to see others will be there the same time we will! It's my hubby's first time so I'm hoping to get him hooked! Maybe we'll run into you all!!

We don't get to the resort until about 7 or 8 pm.

Welcome to our pre-trip report. I just started reading yours and you can tell your dh that he will have a great time on your adults only trip. We did one last year and had a ball. (You have to be quiet about it though, Declan still doesn't know.)

LAst year we had a mini dis-meat at on POTC. It was a fun time.

I sure hope he likes it! I'd like to start planning our next trip! :lmao:
I've heard a few people mention a possible meet at Epcot on Aug 13th, early afternoon. Let me know if you guys are game! :thumbsup2

We're doing Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic package, too. We figured that might be the only way to get in the way that thing is working these days. I'll fill you in on how it goes.

If we could have booked a little later and you guys a little sooner, we could have done this together...finally.

Do you think you'll ever do a holiday trip, like Christmas or Thanksgiving?

You could always book a NYE trip and come to the meet-up at the Poly to watch fireworks rock 2010 in.

We didn't get the package, they were sold out. We did get a time of 5:20 though.

We have talked about a Christmas trip sometime in the next two years; before Declan hits the adult ticket price age.

Good to hear it-I look forward to your review from your July trip too. I've heard near all positive reviews of it...and Henry would love to meet Tigger!!

Brook - were you reading along when we did the summer report? We started off at Crystal Palace, so there are pictures of characters and food there, if you care to go back and look it up. It was our first meal on our first day, right after the afternoon parade, so that should help you find it. There's a picture of Tigger wearing the shades he stole from me!

I'll get a bunch more this summer - hopefully some more of the building and interior design. That's really a beautiful place all around.

Ma and Dad, I know chances are slim, but it would be awesome if you could join us at the Poly on NYE! I'm not sure what our trip schedule looks like next year. We're thinking about Mother's Day, summer, and then something in either October, November, or December. Have you ever been in October? Even if you're not a Halloween person, and I'm really not, Disney World is beautiful all dressed in orange, and MNSSHP is incredible! You'd love the Boo to You parade - just so cool! Thanksgiving is nice, too. The weather is good, but you guys are spoiled to off-times, and it would probably seem crowded. Christmas :santa: is good, too.

Heck, who am I kidding? It's all good at Disney World! :thumbsup2

We are talking about a trip over Christmas next year. Christmas is one of the times that we can take a trip as we both gets some time off over the holidays. We would love to get there at other times of the year and see some of the special events but I don't see it hapening anytime soon.

Have a great long weekend for those of you in the US. I'll be thinking of you on Monday as I stand in front of my class.

Now that you mention it, I do vagulely recall an incident where Tigger stole your sunglasses. I believe I was more of a lurker her on the TR boards at that point. Which trip is it - Over the river and through the Fun? I'll check it out-thanks MeMom!

Rain, rain go away…

Sitting here sipping coffee from my mug (a gift from the newbie mom whose nickname for me is Tink)

and thought a short update about nothing would be fun to write so here it goes.

ADRs are now complete. We will be dining together each day except Friday. The Spragues will be going to Askerhuis for breakfast with the Princesses and we will be at 1900 Park Fare.
I am grateful that my boys have finally agreed to let Mom have her breakfast with one of her two fav characters~ Mary Poppins.

A few updates re the trip: We now have car/van service booked. Being one short of a Grand Gathering this trip, we had to move to the next level of transport. I didn’t realize how much space 7 and their luggage needed! As Dad says, we are planning to do laundry once during our 10-day voyage, but DS will need at least 6 t-shirts to get him through the first 3 days alone!

Last weekend we purchased DS’ new crocs. He chose the colour, maybe he's been secretly DISing: (I think we’ll need to pick up a few more Disney Jibbitz to add to them)

Year end will quickly be upon us at this end of the Great White North. Paperwork, paperwork paperwork! :teacher: We have a few activities planned for our students for the last two weeks: Field Days, trip to local activity camp, awards ceremony, etc. Only 15 school days left!:cool1::banana:

Moving into plan mode for my trip to Memphis in July. Preparing our presentation, taking many stills and interviewing kids to share their thoughts. But soon, oh soon, we’ll be seeing...

Love the GREEN Crocs! DD has some that same color! :)

Good luck with the paperwork! I hear ya there! Luckily, we only have 3 days to go!

You better hope he hasn't been Dising or else he might find out that the big you-know-who's went you-know-where without the little you-know-who!! :scared1:

But I'll never tell. :cool2:

Your Tink cup is cute. Meal time is so much more fun when you have little friends on your dinnerware. :goodvibes

I think we have decided to change our plans for the Four Parks day. We're not going to do the dinner package after all. After reading a lot of posts where people were saying there is no real advantage to it any more, we switched our agenda a little. We're going to see it on another night, but we'll just get counter service and go over and get in line with the masses. A lot of people are saying that even with the package, you're still having to get in the regular line at an hour to an hour and a half out, so I don't see the point of getting the package and paying extra.

Are your friends showing any growing excitement about the trip?

P.S. Do you want us to be on the lookout for any particular Jibbitz? We'd be glad to send you some, if we see them.
