We will be just about to wake up for an early start in Florida (after a late arrival)

Still deciding what to do on day one, it was Magic Kingdom on day 1 for years but now I'm considering breakfast in Market Street Cafe and a wonder around Celebration then stocking up on essentials for the villa.

There's virtually no time left to decide!!

Those 6 months will fly by :thumbsup2

We hardly ever do the same thing on the first day -we don't have a tradition as such, it really all depends on what day of the week it is and where we are staying. This year we are at a Universal hotel for the first 3 nights so the first day will be one or other of the Universal parks. Won't decide until much nearer the time though.

We don’t have a first day tradition as such. We often take the first Disney Bus that arrives and do that park first (unless ADR’s dictate otherwise). We arrive on August the 17th, agree, practically no time left to plan!!

I agree, the next six months will go far quicker than you think. I like this part of the year because there are plenty of interruptions to the calendar to keep me preoccupied and not calendar watching to the extent I do during other times of the year.

We have an arrival day tradition of going to DTD for dinner in the evening, but first day is a park day for us. No particular park - it depends on the combination of EMH and crowd calendars.

So what's next on the planning agenda?

Our tradition always use to be go straight to Lego shop in DTD after checking in at hotel. Buy Star Wars lego Then next morning MGM to ride Star Wars. Now we take it easier but this year our first morning will be spent driving to St Petes Beach and I am just praying I don't get lost! We have a week at Tradewinds then back to Bonnet Creek for 15 nights. Just under 6 months for us as we go 6th August. Can't wait. We have a week in May school holiday in Peurto Pollensa so that will break up the waiting. I try not to wish my life away but as we always have a Florida holiday planned it can be quite hard. Although all this terrible weather just make me want to be on holiday even more.

We used to have a tradition of Magic Kingdom with the earliest breakfast ADR of 8.05am at Crystal Palace but that was with Ex DH so we're now a new family and want to make new traditions as a new family.

We will be visiting Universal a few days to a week into our trip and will stay a night at a Universal to take advantage of FOL.

Excited!!

We arrive in the evening of the 16th after a long day of travelling so we'll just have time to grab food and sleep and hopefully unpack.

How spontaneous jumping on any Disney bus!!

Hopefully it will go quickly but I don't want to wish my life away as I'm 32 and it feels like only yesterday that I was 17!!

Planning for me is generally looking at lots of food pictures and planning our visits to restaurants - sad I know!

I also want to visit Costco! Sad again.

I love supermarket shopping in the US. Triple sad!!

We might do a road trip this trip but thinking of Miami as I want to go Vintage shopping as I'm in the process of setting up a new little business :0)
