If it doesn't work online call. Many people have been getting them changed this time around. Previously they seemed much more strict.

Don't they expect him to be on the reservation or to appear once you are at the desk? Used to be that way--maybe not anymore.

Seems many have changed names or addresses this year, so I guess not. I am not going from experience, because sadly I am a pin reject. But if you look through posts from this latest pin, there were at least 4 who changed information.

I wish I could think of a way to change info to get my twin sister's pin...we of course do not even have the same last name now and she lives in a different state, so it's not happening. : (

So the pin code is automatically applied when you book online then? I did not see where you could enter that info....

Ya, I have seen people change either the address or the name, but no one change both. :(

i logged into my account through disney, went into the email in a diff window, booked it with the PIN BUT since I used my card/last name last time as the billing info, it put my info in! Even my last name and such so all that was diff was the mailing info which worse came to worse Id just have it mailed to my parents house but we decided after all that disney this year isnt a good idea financially BUT def going next your :'( goodbye FDing you will be missed! So Im gonna keep an eye on this email account now and see what happens :)

Our MIL got a PIN and indeed you can put it in then login with your (our) account.

Question: if a PIN is used on a reservation, and multiple families go, that works right? BUT with all being in the same resort?

You can book up to 3 rooms with one PIN as long as your dates overlap and you all stay in the same resort.

I don't have the URL handy but if you google around Disboards, you will find a URL that has a box for the PIN and the last name and ZIP (It's part of the Reservations web site but it's not something you can find easily). Once you verify the PIN, you can then login (using any account).

I have it book-marked at home but not at work :)

I was able to book with the pin code, received 3 times, 4 rooms at 2 different resorts. 3 at one and one room at another.

My Mom received a PIN code, but is unable to join us. I did a dummy reservation and it let me book with my name and address, however, I called Disney, they told me that she has to be present when checking in, since I do not share her address. :(

UPDATE: My MIL used her FD pin to book a moderate this week.

I tried using the PIN website and indeed you can reuse the PIN at a second resort, and log in using (my) other credentials.

The ONLY thing that happens wierd is that the Shipping address is LOCKED to the PIN address. No big deal for us.

Just passing along. The reservation otherwise worked fine, proving that the "new" PIN rules, using web site, allow: other people to use PIN; use twice; use at a different resort. At least for us. YMMV?
