What are the crowds going to be like 9/28-10/4...we purposely planned that time so the crowds would be down and the temps, as well...some family members went 8/28-9/3 and my best freind was there about a week ago and there were absolutely NO CROWDS...my best freind and her family has been to DW appx. 30 times since 1993 and she said that it was by far the least croweded they had EVER seen it...but I don't think we will be so lucky. What do you guys think? BTW, we care nothing for the F&W..so we will probably avoid that like the plague-where is it anyway?
TIA

Great question. We'll be there Oct. 6th-10th. I've heard crowds have been real light. You sure wouldn't think so based on how full all of the restaurants are. We've had a real hard time getting ARD's. They say everything is booked.

Yeah, I have ran into that problem. We decided to fly a week or so ago, so I had to change our Chef Mickey's on departure day. We could not get Chef Mickey's that morning. The CM suggested O'hana's for b-fast, said it was the same food and characters as Chef Mickey's, but less crowded...we were upset at having to change, but we are excited to go 'off the beaten path'. good luck....oh, what about the weather? As of tomorrow, I can go on the weather channel and look at the 10 day forecast and see what it will be like on our arrival. I am more concerned about the humidity-hope it's gone!!!

We love that time of year!
We went to WDW twice, over the past few years, in the fall and the crowds have been light. Minimal, if any, wait for rides. The worst we had it, believe it or not, was during MNSSHP! MK was packed (compared to the normal crowds during the day) and we have to wait for most everything. YOu'd think I would have learned my lesson and not gone back to MNSSHP, but alas, we are going again this year on 29 Sept!
Once the Food and Wine festival starts, the crowds do pick up. But it is NOTHING like what we experienced this past July!
Have a wonderful trip!
