This is your 24th Anniversary? But you're so young!~A 5/12 TR!*PTR link pg 49, 9/14!*

OMG get the Chocolate peanut butter, it's amazing! The Butterfinger is good, but the peanut butter one is insane! I just hope you like peanut butter because there is a ton of it! :yay:

I do love PB... and PB with chocolate is one of my favorite combinations!

Yay for riding ToT multiple times!!! Love it!!!

I wish we had done Agent P. for our drawing. We did Minnie Mouse. You both did a great job drawing him!

I miss the BC so much! It was so relaxing there. :cloud9:

Again, SOOOO far behind on another TR! I apologize Jen. School was really starting to get on my case for awhile, but now I'm free from the grips of academics and can do whatever. WOOT!

Anyways... sounds like you've had a great trip so far! Always a :thumbsup2 to Le Cellier, my mouth just waters reading your updates. Next Disney trip, TOTALLY getting ADRs there ::yes:: And that's awesome they allowed you to switch rooms with all the noise. Maybe Flat Stanley was a good luck charm for you... hmmm... :confused3:

Mmmm... all the food at Cape May looks so good! Even though I wish I could see more of their seafood options (LOOOVVEEEE SEAFOOD!), but still most of the other things you got look good (Oreo Bonbons, even the name sounds delicious...). Then, a great IllumiNations viewing point after, you seemed to be having an awesome first day ::yes::

YAY! DHS! Sorry though you didn't get to the park as early as you wanted to, but I guess it was destiny since they weren't letting people in and then you didn't have to make your mad dash to TSM *phew* But sorry to hear Brandon beat you... I guess luck does have its downsides sometimes. Anyways, :thumbsup2 to Tower of Terror and the Starring Rolls cupcakes! Oh, so many things I must do on my next trip :goodvibes

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

ok, how did I get one update and 3 pages behind! I gotta spend more time on the DIS...I'm neglecting my TR's!!
that hamm and Eggs shirt is sooo cute! I hope its there for you in November!

the Red velvet cupcake looks sooo good...and I agree with everyone else...no problem with cupcakes for breakfast in Disney!

leaving Disney property?? oh no......
What's the surprise??????????????????????????????

I do love PB... and PB with chocolate is one of my favorite combinations!

Well then you will absolutely LOVE the chocolate peanut butter cupcake! Make sure you are hungry when you get it, it's really filling!

Yay for riding ToT multiple times!!! Love it!!!

ToT is my favorite ride, I love it so much!

Aww, I'd love to draw Minnie Mouse! I really want to draw some of the more classic characters, so far I've done Jiminy and Agent P. They're both nice, but I want to do Pluto or Minnie or something!

I know, I miss the BC too! :(

Again, SOOOO far behind on another TR! I apologize Jen. School was really starting to get on my case for awhile, but now I'm free from the grips of academics and can do whatever. WOOT!

Yay, glad you're all caught up and don't have to worry about school for a while!

YES definitely go to Le Cellier!! Everything is so good! I'm tempted to go there for dinner in November, ever since they have changed to a signature for dinner, we've skipped it and done lunch, but now I'm curious how different it really is...

Mmm Cape May is so good! They have tons of seafood there, some giant crab legs (I think?) a bunch of fried stuff (shrimp maybe? Haha, see, I just don't pay attention to the seafood there, but I do know it's there!) and lots more! It's nice that they have other options too! And the oreo bonbons might be my 3rd favorite dessert in WDW, after 'Ohana's bread pudding and the chocolate moose at Le Cellier!

I was so happy we didn't have to do the mad dash to TSM, it was nice just walking over and grabbing some FP's and hopping in the standby line! Haha, yeah, it was annoying having Brandon beat me that one time, but I made up for it later!

You haven't had a cupcake from Starring Roles yet? Make sure you do on your next trip, yum!!! :thumbsup2

Haha, I'm so behind on so many TR's/PTR's and I don't know how either!

Haha, I'll probably get a cupcake for breakfast on every DHS day from now on! It's a nice way to start the day!

Yep, leaving the Disney bubble...not fun! I will probably update tomorrow or Wednesday so you will see the surprise then, it was awesome and totally unexpected!

New Trip!!!

Hi everyone! Anyone notice anything different about my ticker? Maybe the fact that I have 2 now instead of one? I'm going to be going on another Disney Christmas trip, this time with my sister and niece in December! It's only for 4 days, but we should be able to get a lot done, Christmas party, Osborne Lights, the castle lighting! :cool1: We don't know where we are staying yet, I'm pretty much leaving that up to my sister and niece, as long as the price isn't too crazy, I'll stay anywhere!

If you can tell from my tickers, this 2nd trip is only 3 weeks after my November trip with Brandon. At first, when my sister asked me about it, I considered switching our trip to the beginning of October, the same week we did last year to get one more use out of our AP's and save some money. Then I looked at flights, and they are really expensive, and I checked ADR's and there is nothing good available...

I asked Brandon what he wanted to do, and of course, he said he didn't care. Then I told him how much money we'd save by not having to buy park tickets and he said he wanted to switch, not only to save money, but for a whole week of Food and Wine. :drinking1 Then we watched a Disney special that just happened to be on tv, and they were showing the parks at Christmas, and he said how much he likes going at that time of year. :sad2: So then I said we wouldn't bother switching, but maybe we would change resorts and stay in a value for that week to save extra $$. He said he didn't care when we go or what we do, he'll go whenever I want. Ughhhh!!! (Ok, I should be happy he is so agreeable and doesn't argue with me about these things, but he could have SOME kind of opinion! :rotfl2:)

As of now, I'm ok with going once in November and again 3 weeks later. It actually helps out my trip with Brandon, going back so soon, because I won't have to drive him crazy. It gives us time to have a rest day, which I didn't have scheduled at all for this trip, and possibly time for either Universal or Busch Gardens, which we both really want to do (even more than Universal, if that's possible!). I will also be skipping the Christmas party on this trip with Brandon, since I will be going to in December (unless for some reason, Brandon insists on going, which I doubt he will!)

Still, I feel like maybe I should be getting one more use out of that AP! Then again, I keep forgetting how much more the flights would be...half the money I'd be saving on park tix I'd be spending to change our flights! Switching also gives me less time to save money, less time to lose weight...

What do you guys think? Switch to the first week of October or stay with the November trip? If it helps, I could do a pros/cons list for each trip for you! :rotfl:

I got caught up after my 10+ days off the DIS.

Sorry DHS didn't follow the "rules" and open earlier! Still sounds like you did well with the TSM timing though!

As fast as the trips. I would probably do what works out best financially... What airlines are you flying?!? There is still time for airfare prices to change.

I'd also look at crowd calendars and choose when might be less crowded as I HATE crowds...

OMG, another trip?! :scared1: Are you really trying to torture me by going TWO times during the holidays? :sad2::laughing: I am so beyond jealous. You sure are getting your money's worth out of your AP!

YAY for another trip and only three weeks apart from each other! To top it off, during the HOLIDAYS! Wow! So lucky! :hyper: I think I would stick with your current trip date even though you may not get any more use out your AP, you will have better ADRs and be able to do a lot more outside of Disney (no matter how controversial that may be). Hope that helps! (:

I would go with the route that would be the most cost effective, so I would run the numbers. Going three weeks apart is similar to something I've done before, so that's not a concern to me. List your pros and cons and them we can look over them. :lmao:

YAY! Another trip!! OMG that's so exciting!

Okay I thought this one over, and I would stick with your November trip. I think that four days isn't quite enough time to do everything there is to do during the holidays, and I think it's great that you would be going so soon after your trip with Brandon because then you can really relax some.

Also, if there's no good ADRs in October, I wouldn't even bother. Honestly, ADRs are such an important part of a fun trip in my opinion, I can't imagine taking a trip and not eating at my favorite spots! :goodvibes

Congrats on the news! I'm so excited for you!

PERSONALLY, since I know you had a disappointing December trip last year, I'd stick with what you already have. The cost works, Brandon said he liked going at that time of year, there weren't good ADRs available for October... it all seems like a win-win!

Although if you DO decide to switch, you can still get the major holiday events in during those four days! I speak from experience because in December 2010 we only had TWO park days and we did everything we wanted, and in December 2011, we had four park days, and you know how much we were able to get done as well!

Either way, I'm totally jealous that you have two trips to look forward to! I'm trying to get my friends to commit to going again this December. What are your dates?! If I end up going, we might be there at the same time!

Two trips during the holiday season!?!? I'm officially jealous! ;)

I agree that I would look at the crowd calendar and decide when the crowds would be better. But it sounds like you've laid out the best reason. Your airfare will be cheaper to leave the trip where you have it, so that's my vote-for what it's worth! :)

Yay for another trip planned!!!!!!!

Hmmm, as far as when to go, let's see that pros/cons list! I think you have a pretty good focus group right here! :thumbsup2:rotfl:

YAY fr another trip!!!

As for switching or not to switch: I would not switch. Gives you more time to save up and more time to lose weight. Plus, Brandon said he would like to go back at that time... I'm all for saving more $ when it is possible ;) lol

And Your AP has pretty much already paid for itself and more right? BUT I totally understand wanting to get more out of it.. I wanted to go this past april or may to get more out of ours, but it didn't work out :( Our family trip last september had it paying for itself and then some... so then I didn't feel too bad lol

Give us your pro and con list if you are still confused about it all. We all can look it over and put our 2 cents in to help you out ;)

Yay for two more trips this year!! :cheer2:

I'm thinking that if you stick with the week you already have, you'll be happier. It does suck that you won't get an extra use out of your APs, but it doesn't seem to make sense to spend the money you'd be saving on flights...and if there aren't any good ADR's available, you'll end up eating CS the whole time and that's no fun!

Of course, you could always leave it open for another month or so....Maintain the plan as you have it now, but keep watching airfare and ADRs...if airfare drops to an amazing price, then it would be worth it to switch, even if you DO end up eating CS all week...but it WILL be F & W so that might not be so bad!

All caught up after a DIS hiatus! ;) WOW for two trips later this year, how awesome! I agree with some of the others about keeping the November trip. Sounds like what I would do, but laying out a pro/con list might make it easier to decide for sure!

Secret Option Number 3

Hi everyone! Thank you for all the advice about my upcoming trips, I did read everyone's suggestions, I just didn't want to reply to them individually because they would probably all say the same thing!

Basically, I have no idea what I'm doing. :rotfl: Big surprise that I can't make a decision, right?

Brandon and I were talking about it last night, and of course, he doesn't care when we go. Then we started talking about Disneyland and we kind of agreed to go there in the Fall! I got really, really excited for about an hour...then I started researching it, and none of the hotels I'd be interested in are available, and Brandon wants to go to San Francisco if we ever go to CA, so today I kind of decided it would be better to wait until next year. I'm not sure if that's the best option, because I'm not sure if I can go a whole year without going to Disney, but there are so many things I want to do next year, I'm not even sure we will be able to go on any trips next year. But anyway, none of this really matters!

As of now, my 2 options are:

1. Keep my trip in November. Cheap flights, great ADR's, Christmas and Food and Wine in one trip (although Food and Wine will only be for 4 days). We love this week and I know we'd have a great time if we go at this time.

2. Switch to the first week of September. The only 2 good things I can find about going this week are getting to use my AP's one last time and Food and Wine all week. It's going to be hot, and the flights are kind of expensive. If we switch, we would probably save less than $400 (and I'm basing this on if free dining comes out for the Fall, which I'm really hoping it does soon!), and there are no good ADR's. I'm sure things will open if I stalk the dining website, but honestly, that is SUCH a pain to do!

HOWEVER! :hyper:

There is also Secret Option Number 3 to consider! :upsidedow

(First before I tell you what that is, do you guys remember the Friends episode when Chandler is asking Ross and Rachel for advice about Janice {the hug n roll episode? :rotfl:?} Ross quizzes Chandler and asks what would happen if Janice went on a trip and she gave him 2 options, option 1 would be taking a cab from the airport, or option 2, Chandler would meet her at baggage claim...Chandler says "that's easy, baggage claim" and Ross says "eh, wrong, now you're single. It's actually Secret Option number 3, you meet her at the gate.")

(Yeah, you guys totally didn't need to know that. Except when I keep thinking about this potential option, I always hear Ross saying "Secret Option Number 3" :rotfl2:)

Ok, so what is Secret Option Number 3?

We go at the end of October! Here is why I think this is the BEST option:
-A whole week of Food and Wine
-There are still amazing ADR's left for both weeks
-I'd love to see the Fall/Halloween decorations again
-I'd have about 6 weeks between this trip and the trip with my sister, which would give me more time to save money for that trip, and more time to anticipate it!
-It wouldn't be as hot as the beginning of the month (hopefully!)

The only HUGE problem with going at this time is, the flights are insanely expensive. Like $300 more than what I paid for my November flights. Ideally, I like going on Friday and coming home on Saturday. Flights on the weekends are crazy! So I looked for flights in the middle of the week, and amazingly, they are really reasonable, about the same as what I paid for November! So we could go Wednesday to Wednesday or Thursday to Thursday, either the week before Halloween or the week of Halloween.

If we did that, we would lose a day, it would only be 7 park days and not 8 (when I told Brandon that, he actually said "GOOD" because he's really tired of long trips! :rotfl:) and that would cut down on the cost a little. Is going in the middle of the week like that weird? I just don't know how I'd feel about it! :confused3

And what dates would be better? Either October 18-25 or October 25-November 1? I don't know anything about late October! It would be fun to be there on Halloween, but we wouldn't be doing MNSSHP or anything, so it wouldn't matter that much!

I'm not going to change anything yet, but I am probably going to make some ADR's, just in case! :rotfl: I'm still holding out hope that the prices of the flights on the weekends will drop, but is it really that important?

I can't believe this is so stressful! Planning Disney trips is supposed to be FUN! :scared:

Please help! :flower3:

Oh, one more thing-I wanted to do an update for my TR tonight, but I'm having a hard time deciding how I'm going to break up the rest of the day into updates, so I have to look at all my pictures and notes, hopefully I can update tomorrow!

Personally I think you should switch to October 18 - 26th. There will be a lot of DISers there during that time frame. We are planning a DIS meet in Epcot on October 18th. I will be there 10/16 - 23. It will be my last use of my AP then I will be taking a hiatus from the Disney parks for at least a year.

Congrats on the December trip. Experiencing all the festivities will be great on a girl's trip.

Good luck deciding.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that episode!!! It's hilarious!!!! I LOVE Friends anyways though ;)

Secret Option 3 makes the decision more difficult.. Maybe it would be better to move it to one of the weeks on october and then you could have more time before the girls trip and more time to save $ too..

Good Luck deciding!!!!
