And so it begins..... I am not looking forward to standing on the bus. Of all the changes, bus seating, elevators, and skyliner limits were good with me.
I will still be looking forward everything else that should/could return: all the resorts opening, restaurants opening and maybe magic hrs for onsite guests.

Seriously, me too. Of all the changes I wish bus standing would go away forever. As a very short person, bus standing is not easy.

I mean, if it means not having to stand and wait at the bus stop another 15-30 minutes for the next available bus, I'm okay with standing. You can always wait for the next bus and be first in line to take a seat if that's your preference.

I'm with you. I have no problem with standing, especially if it means shorter wait times.

I live outside of Philly so standing on public transportation is normal. I have no issues with it. It makes wait times lower.

Note that it says on 'articulated' busses. Those are the the double busses with the accordion pleat in the middle. Not many of them in use.

If you don't have people standing that means the buses are running at about half capacity and that means even longer waits for buses.

I agree. We have been on some buses that were completely full and they still managed to get one more family on board. The family was glad to not have to wait another hour and it became kind of a running joke with us as to how many they could get on a bus. We do tend to make lemonade form the lemons we are given

I am glad I got to ride the Skyliner with my past two trips. But I will no longer do so once 8-10 people are on board each cabin.

Lyft or Uber..extra cost? Yes. But given all the issues/worries with free transportation it is 100% worth it.

Standing wasn't fun before the pandemic, so I understand those who aren't happy to see it return. I don't have a problem standing either (and as I stated upthread, we drive so rarely take the bus), but there are lots of people who DO have a problem standing (like my husband who had a total knee replacement). If you don't see what the issue is, then you are lucky.

There are workarounds for the return to jam packed busses. Some cost $$ and others cost time.

This is a different issue. If someone is elderly, injured, handicapped, pregnant, or just having a hard time, then someone should stand and give them their seat.
