I have traveled with my children and my parents several times to WDW. Sometimes, I booked the whole ressie, sometimes my parents did. Our names were correct on all our trips.

A special offer was mailed to my parents house with my brother's first name and my last name. There was never anyone on our trip with this first/last name combo. Since the special offers are only for the person named, and there is no such person, does that void the offer?

I really want to be the one to use it 40% off resort rate!

I think they do this to make us crazy. DD has not stayed at a Disney resort since she was 8 (we've stayed at the Dolphin each time and they don't list kids' names.) A year or so ago, I got a code card addressed to her. Sorry, she's 16, she can't even reserve a room and she sure as heck doesn't have a credit card!

Give 'em a call and see who they WILL let use it.

One time my 5yo got an offer and I called. When I explained she was 5 and could not make the reservation, they transferred it to my name. I have no clue why they picked up on her name and not anyone else in our party.

From what I've been able to tell if the address matches they willletyou use the code - the pin is tied to that household.
