This is us..

No, it wasn't on. I think the VP Debate aired in its place this week.

Thanks having a hard time remembering when the new shows are on . My PVR usually catches them but I would have missed Project Runway this week because it said it was a repeat and it wasn't. So I though my PVR was acting up.

Okay I already have a question. When showing William in the beginning when he was riding the bus and met the woman, but what happened to her? He got on the bus and she looked woozy and was having trouble walking, but she didn't look pregnant. Then all of a sudden, he was alone with the baby looking sad. What happened?

I caught up on the first two episodes with my parents (just waiting for them to get to the living room so we can watch tonight...) my mom had trouble connecting the dots with the relationships at the end of the first. my dad and i finally explained it to her and she starts crying and says "now that i understand i'm crying!" she cried during the second episode, too.

Didn't they say in an earlier episode that she was a junkie like William (that's why she was woozy) and she died (overdosed???) after the baby was born?

I think it was a time lapse spotting of their relationship just showing that they were junkies together. It was actually during labor, delivery, etc. She died from an overdose is what I thought they said before. Not sure how old he actually was when he was dropped at the firehouse. Whether that was hours, days, etc.

We missed it tonight but will catch up tomorrow. I'll try to stop myself from reading spoiler posts and check back in later.

Oh my..

I love this show more and more every time I watch it! Tonight's episode felt like it was 10 minutes long.

I want more nooooowwwww lol

I am wondering what they named the deceased baby. Was Kyle the name to be given to the deceased baby? Or do you think they had 3 boy names picked and three girl names, and so they ended up with an extra K boy name to give to Kyle (Randall)? I also wonder if the siblings even know about the deceased baby. The reason I ask is because Kate kept referring to herself as a twin. She is actually a triplet even though the third baby passed. I know a family who also lost a third baby and they always refer to the two surviving children as triplets. I thought that was strange when I first heard it, but I guess it's true that they are not technically twins.

They referred to the deceased baby as the baby they lost. I would think if they had named him they would have referred to him by his name. They said the K names were in honor of the doctor so I don't think they were pre chosen.

Yes, Kyle was the name they chose for the third baby.
How do you figure? In the flashbacks they say they chose K names in honor of the doctor and seemed to have chosen them at the hospital. Kyle is the name they originally chose for Randall. I think in the end they felt it should have belonged to the baby that passed and why they decided to change Randall's name because they didn't want him to be a replacement.

Something I can't figure out is.....how would the PI that Randall hired have been able to find William in the first place? Unless there is some sort of DNA on file for both Randall and William, what could he possibly have had to clue him in?
