Liked the young Pearsons and trick or treat night.
I am drawing a blank, did they say what Toby does for work?
I looked it up and the actor that plays him said this in an interview...Anyone?? I'd also like to know.
I didn't realize the actor who plays Toby wears a fat suit! Mind Blown.
I looked it up and the actor that plays him said this in an interview...
"He's an IT guy," Sullivan said. "There's one line about it, in like, Episode 4. So yeah. He specializes in technology and computers."
Kevin didn’t just seem like a douche he WAS a douche. The assumption that this guy would want him to read for him (after it had been cast, no less) because he was prettier than his friend was sheer arrogance. That he would do that to his friend was absolutely disgusting.Plus, when Kate visits him at work you see him doing IT stuff.
After not loving the first few episodes this season I am officially back to watching episodes while holding my breath LOL
what another a-maz-ing episode.
I have said that I don’t tear up much in these episodes but wow, Randall in the fan store had me blurry eyed. How lucky he talked to that man. His saying that children tell you who you are hit me right in the heart. To me, it seemed like Randall crying wasn’t necessary scripted..his excuse me just seemed real instead of a line. I LOL’d at a baby almost being named after him. That clerk was the perfect person at the perfect time.
Kevin seemed like a douche when he tried to talk the director into letting him read for the part instead of his friend. Glad he was so sternly turned down.
Kate, Kate...interesting night for her. Not sure what to say about it now.
The part that made me laugh hardest was Jack saying he looked like Rhoda with a mustache without his Cher. Hilarious.
When Zeke (Kevin’s roommate) first comes home he said he was cast in the new Kevin Spacey film..that did not age well lol
What else, what else? Oh yeah BOOto the Larson’s telling Randall about Kyle. Butt out!
Oh, I also loved the angle about how we present ourselves to our family vs. how things really are. Randall is seen as so put together and has everything, yet behind closed doors, things are not perfect. So true.
Where did you watch it? They cut the Kevin Spacey for the broadcast airing and replaced it with Christian Bale. When Zeke (Kevin’s roommate) first comes home he said he was cast in the new Kevin Spacey film..that did not age well lol
!
Ah, gotcha!I heard that in Canada they still said Kevin Spacey.
I said 26 in my previous post but if they were “10 and a bit” in 2000 then they were 28, close to 29 in 2008. Too grown to blame youth for doing such crappy things IMO. I’ve not led a perfect life by any means and I’m sure I did some crappy things but these particular choices, sleeping with a married man, trying to steal your buddy’s job just go too far to be in the “young and dumb” category. For me, I could have overlooked it if they’d had any kind of remorse over it but they didn’t seem to have any at all. Eh, I should have just stayed out of the thread this week-those two things (sleeping with another woman’s husband and stabbing your friend in the back) are serious hot buttons for me.Kevin and Kate making terrible choices... I loved it. This is why this show draws us in. They are not perfect. They do stupid things, just like we all do at times. I look back and think about my choices and the things I said when I was younger, man was I dumb! But as humans we evolve and grow, and maybe not learn immediately how bone-headed we are, but we do look back and edit ourselves. It was nice to start putting the puzzle of Miguel and Rebecca together a little. My husband got a chuckle out of seeing me fight the tears last night. Great episode for sure.
