If it hasn't got a screen, DS is not interested. With the new school, he's got his own laptop. His friends and his cousins are all on skype.

I'm monitoring and might need to impose some restrictions on skype calling soon. This week is fine because they haven't kick-started with homework yet. I'm going to see how it goes next week and if DS is diligent enough to work on his homework FIRST before anything else. He was really good at this during the first term. Hopefully, he'll keep the trend going and I won't need to step in and be the 'bad parent'.

I have to say that if the Dis continues to behave and perform the way it has tonight, I'll be happy. It's been pretty quick and rather consistent.

I assume that now that you've cleared out the cookie, your log-out issues are gone?

Yes the Dis is behaving better. But I'm not counting any chickens. It was down periodically during the day. Even if I don't have time to post I would hit refresh on my phone and it would put up an error page...

I suspect they will get round to the various "skins" for the different mobile apps at some stage. Just depends on how competent and quick they are.

You've confused me with that...
The 'behaviour' on my phone safari and laptop safari has been identical.

That would be because safari would mostly run off the same application protocol. Each browser has a different protocol...that's what makes them different and proprietary for the companies; and in order for a page content to display properly, it might need to be "skinned" to suit that application.

Depending on how competent the IT developer is, you could make it easy to set up content and 'skins'. The hard way is for them to have a separate skin for each protocol, which might be the case here.

And the mobile apps would need more tweaking as well. Screen size is different and in order for the content to display nicely, they would need to play around with the tiles to make sure they all fit.

Take a look at your bank or at Telstra online and compare it with the mobile app. Similar; but a little different.

eh? The nurse came and changed the dressing. Tomorrow we are going to ask the wound care center if we can just come in there and have them do it instead of the home health. She likes those people better, and if we go to WDW the Home health people won't treat her anymore since they will say she is not "homebound".

Sounds like a good plan to just get Frans treatments done at once. It's nice to have home nurses come to you but when you have to go somewhere anyway, why not?
