Yes, I hear this so in advance, Please say this doesnt make you nervous. There are plenty of places to cruise. I know they have a cruise that is total west coast. I think it does Santa Barbara, Sanfransico, and San Diego, and has to stop at Ensanada due to the Jones's act. I really would love to do that cruise.

Hi Usnuz!! Congrats on being LAST!!

You guys move so fast on here, I can't keep up. I try to go back & catch up, but it's usually a losing battle. How's everyone's weekend going? DH & I saw The Vow yesterday, it was prety good. We have noticed how much more crowded the matinees are getting around here. I don't know if it's cause it's winter & there's not a lot to do (that's why we go then) or if it's the prices that are the reasons. Maybe some of both.

Anyone gonna watch the Oscars? I'll be heading to Imzadi's thread; it's usually a fun time.

Just being home, No I am not watching the Oscars, we dont get regular tv. Sounds like being couped up at home from winter and good prices for your movies have created it to be a little more crowded.

ME! ME! ME! See you there twin-nie. But first...I have to run out and pay someone for the pleasure of weighing me at WW. Wish me luck! I don't know how I'll go this week but am hoping for a small weight loss. My scales at home aren't very sensitive and I *think* it is a minor drop today.

Any of these Caribbean and Mexican ports have incidents like that.
There was a shore excursion Segway tour in Nassau that was held up.
I'm not really a crusing person. It's only the actual Disney ships that interest me, and by day 3 I've seen it all and done with it.
I wouldn't mind doing their east coast cruise from NYC though.

I'm not really a crusing person. It's only the actual Disney ships that interest me, and by day 3 I've seen it all and done with it.

Our family was on the segway excursion in Nov 2009 a day or two before that incident. We just leave all jewelry, purses and wallets in the ship safe and take just enough ID to get back on the ship.

Good luck on the weigh-in, twin-nie! I have a good friend who is doing WW. She has lost 35 pounds so far but is now struggling with a plateau. She is losing coz she is having major knee surgery soon & trying to get healthier & a better weight before that.

I never really watch the Oscars, I haven't seen any of the movies and really have no interest in watching people who I haven't heard of parade around like pheasants.

You're going to be on that one too? I don't think I could do that one, because we will have done the Long Beach Pride Parade the day before. But who knows, if we get packed the week before, what a way to relax after a long hard day! I was going to try and convince her to book that on the other ship and get the discount and OBC. Corinna will be on that one too.

I want us to get back into cruising, we did three (one each year at first) and then she got sick and we stopped doing anything. Then her parents got sick and we REALLY stopped doing anything. I just need her to get back started on doing stuff and she will remember that she used to like it.
