Bob picked up Kathy's remains today. And they finally planned the memorial, it is on June 23. We are working around Steph's work schedule and my kids school. I will be glad when this is over and the mourning process can really begin.

well, Trent missed 16.5 days, and no warning for us

I sent in a note for each one..

4 of those were for disney..but other 12.5 were all sick day..darn viruses

I got ya! Well it looks like I'll be joining the club to remove her from school for Disney trips

My friend and I saw Bridesmaids this weekend and OMG, I laughed until I Cried.

Definitely go and see it

We went to the same friend house yesterday for a BBQ for a few hrs. I was outside for about 2 hrs and had enough. It was way too hot

Hey! It was a good but tiring weekend!

I want to see Bridesmaids! It looks so funny! We went to see the Hangover II and OMG...I have not laughed that loud at the movies in a LONG time! My dentist was sitting two seats away and it was almost awkward with him there That movie is nuts

I laid around the house, wrote some Thank You cards. Went Crazy with Tyler and Braetons horrendous attitudes and behaviour for a short while. Ate some watermelon and it didn't Hurt me at all!!!! Sat outside on the porch and watched the birds try to take a bath under the sprinklers whil having a porch picnic :wink: Then went wild and went to Wal Mart with my Dad! I was on a scooter!!

But today was the best! My Mom and I went and got Deluxe Mani/Pedis Ahhhh I am worn out but happy!

Gotta love the attitudes of kids!

We were there this January and there were no crowds! We literally did everything without much of a wait. Of course the weather was up and down. One day we go to swim and then there was a day that I had to wear my wool coat to DHS I couldn't imagine it could be that could at WDW but it was around 35 that morning and we were doing EMH to ride TSM! I would take my January trip over this past one for sure. We still had a great time and some 75 degree days!

LOVE the dole whip One of my favorite things about staying at the Poly is having a Dole Whip machine right there!

I am going to be doing the same thing with Eliza. I'm guessing we have the 10 day rule too since it seems that most do. Love the high-tech assignments! That will be great! I'm sure by the time the kids are older, they may have advanced things even more!

When did you go in January? We are thinking Jan 20-28, 2012...I didn't want to deal with NYE crowds that linger or the marathons or MLK. So I guess I will still pack swimsuits...I just assumed we wouldn't be swimming at all, but then UJ also said they did the water parks in January...hmmm

Definitely find out what your school allows. My sister's family is in PA and they only allow 5 days!!! So they never pull their kids from school.

Thank you. I am trying to take it easy with my back but you know as a mom that just isn't possible. I also am now coming down with a cold too.

Thank you. I know, it is so hard to take it easy. I haven't had a day that I actually have gotten to take it easy.

My sister and her husband never considered insurance a high priority, so there was no money to take care of this. The money has had to be collected. It's not a pretty story.

Hello again friends ... we're back, but just for a few days. We had already planned to drive down to my mom's next week so we'll be back in the dang truck on Monday for another 7 hour drive. Tom is going to Houston for work so I thought it would be a great time for the kids and I to go visit Gramma. Didn't plan on an extra trip to SC in between Orlando and Tampa! Three long car trips in as many weeks ~ what a summer vacation so far!


Michele, I'm relieved to hear the service for Kathy has finally been scheduled. You need that, I know.
