This is too funny

Happy ugly Monday afternoon. Ugly weather here and I'm having a hard time finding any motivation to get this house picked up and get ready for the trip :upsidedow Working part time is good for me but it makes me not want to do anything once I get home

What's new with everyone?

Bummer on the ugly weather but yay for Disney soon!!!

Nothing new here...just not so great sleep lately. Alex starts waking himself up around 2:30am and then continues to wake him and me up every hour on the hour from then until we get up for the day. I'm exhausted!

Spent yesterday in a shopping frenzy trying to get ready! Losing weight is great until you need clothes for a trip and all of yours are falling off of you. I am NOT complaining ~ it is a wonderful problem to have. I just hate to spend money before I go spend more money! And I wish I'd been better about sticking to the plan these last few months.... maybe I'd be at my goal and then I wouldn't mind buying new stuff!

OH WEL!!! I am going to Disney World in 5 days! :cool1:

Yay for needing smaller clothes!! I'm getting fatter :sad2:

Today is one of "those" days that you hear about.

I have good and I have not so good, it's not bad......

The good is I won the pre-opening ride on Star Tours for May 25.

The not so good news, I can't go.:sad2:

But, I am a winner!!:rotfl:

Major major bummer that you can't go!!!!! Can you give the prize to someone else?

Trent finally has his first loose teeth

His bottom two adult front teeth are already in and his baby teeth in front of them are tight as can be.

Tonight, we discovered his top right tooth I believe is wiggly

He is 7 and half and was beginning to think none of his baby teeth would ever come out

:rotfl:

:woohoo::woohoo: Is he excited?

Hey girlie

I will pack for you and pick up your house

You just need to hide me in your suitcase okay? :rotfl2:

No problem Sharky! You hop on in :cool1:

Aww, I'm sorry  I can't imagine :sad2:

Mike is right, winning counts for something! So neat that you were selected!

Weather here isn't bad today, actually saw the sun a couple of times. Good luck with the picking up and being motivated to do so.

Busy Monday at work but it has been mellow at home. The week is going to be busy including a trip north for a big meeting/training.

We have had such horrible weather this year. Now it's just non stop rain, yuck! I'll be happy to be at Disney in 2 days :woohoo:

Where is your meeting/training up north?

Aww, poor Alex and poor Mommy! I wonder why that's happening? Is he feeding when he gets up?

Not sure :confused3 A few of my friends with young babies suggested maybe teething. No he's not eating when he wakes up. He usually goes right back to sleep after I give him his paci and rock him some so I know he's not hungry.

Morning!

I am going into work for a few hours and then have to get my butt to Walmart. I have so many little things that I need to pick up, ugh! Not sure how all of this ALWAYS comes down to the last minute :confused3 Only for Disney though :)

Happy Tuesday :lovestruc

I totally kwym. I feel we'll be doing this before our December trip too. I'm afraid of all the things we are going to have to bring for Alex. I actually told Chris over the weekend that I think we are going to have to rent a van to drive down in or borrow my Dad's GMC because if we don't, there won't be any room for us to sit in the car on the way down haha! Btwn Alex's stroller and our luggage and everything we're going to need for Alex. *sigh*

So true Carla! I remember flying down when Eliza was 9 months old...I had A LOT of stuff! I use a list that I found here on the Dis called The Ultimate Packing List. If you don't have it, I'll send it to you. It was a great help with everything I needed! I still use it now, just cross off some of the things that no longer apply.

Where is your meeting/training up north?

Just an hour north of here in Roseburg, driving up Thursday afternoon and meeting the other Directors/VPs/CIOs at a dinner. Then Friday morning we get an early start and spend the day in meetings, demos, and break-out sessions to keep each other up to speed with what we're all doing with technology.

When we traveled back east when Kyra was 3 and bean was still a baby I felt like we were loading up for war! Goodl luck juggling it all, but at least Disney transportation is stroller-friendly ;)

Halloooo Michele! Hope everyone is having a good day :goodvibes

If that is what happening, should help some :goodvibes

Hi Chele :yay:

Hi Chele :goodvibes Hope you are doing ok!

Isn't keeping up with technology fun?! I recently went back to work part time to work on a project that they need help with. Before I had my daughter, I was a Systems Operations/Security Analyst. Wow, I have missed A LOT in 5 years that I'm now trying to update and learn again

Walmart was good! Went for sunblock and a few toiletries and spent $70...how does that happen :confused3

Hope you are well Mike!

U packed yet?

2 days :woohoo:

I'm getting there! This list is probably 75% checked off!

WOOT :cool1:

Hope u had fun at Wally World

It was as fun as ever! I hate buying sunscreen...it's so freaking expensive :headache:

FML. Got rear-ended tonight. :sad2:

Oh no! How horrible! I hope you're feeling ok...that can really make you sore  People need to pay attention!!!!!

Morning All! Only 1 day left and I am need more like 5

Today is StinkerBelle's last day of preschool...EVER :sad1: It seems like she was just three years old and we were starting our first day. Time really does go too fast. I'm so nervous yet excited for her to start kindergarten!

I have so much crap to do that I could scream! I guess I should just figure it will all get done since it always does :upsidedow

Happy Hump Day :flower3:

I was going to do another one tonight but ran out of steam :sad2:

Oh bummer Cheri, are you okay? Is the car in one piece? I hope they had good insurance.

um..."okay" is a relative term, hah.

car is in one piece...mostly. Trunk is completely screwed. And if they total my car out, I'm screwed. They won't give me crap for it, and I can't afford a new one right now especially after the IVF :(

he has state farm, thankfully. I couldn't speak to anyone in claims last night b/c it was too late :confused3

I have to call this morning. I woke up with a backache, headache, and my eyelids are swollen (it's those last 2 that I'm really concerned with...so I am going to let State Farm know, and call my dr)

There is never enough time to get ready when you have kids.

I understand that feeling at the end of preschool. My dad used to tell me when I was a teenager that to him it felt that I had just been born the day before. I used to laugh at him, now that I have kids of my own I really understand what he meant.

um..."okay" is a relative term, hah.

I think calling your dr is a real good idea. Thankfully they have a good insurance company. I hope you feel better.
