Hot as Hades :rotfl2:

WOW....High school

Yeah, we didnt do it online, but we met with counselors and were allowed to choose electives and then by our grades it was decided what math we would be in

Has she picked what electives she wants to take?

Well she wants to stick with band. That equals 2 electives I'm told so I don't know if she can choose another or not. I have an email into the guidance counselor with some questions. I'm lost! :confused3

I can't believe this school year is almost over! 19 school days left for us! :cool1:

umm...weird. These are totally not the posts I was quoting. Was trying to quote ONE post from Nicole, about the school. See, this thing just won't work for me today! It's acting up bigtime! It doesn't like me quoting b/c the first post I didn't have any probs with. :confused3

Nicole, I guess the online class registering helps give the kids more options to make their schedule. But I would tend to think, just save that for college!! Gives them something to look forward to. LOL When I got to college and was like, wow, I can register for my own classes when I want them?! That was awesome.

I bet Abby's school has a lot of cliques in the classrooms eh?

okay let's see what else did I read about...

allergies. Wow, those suck. Poor Roxy, what happens when she has an allergy attack?

Knees and ankles? Shouldn't it be...knees and toes? Head, shoulders, knees and toes, knees and toes!! :rotfl:

Chele is going to WDW. She is staying at either CB, Pop, AS Sports, WL, or Beach Club. hmmm :scratchin

Leah, oh Leah,...I'm SO praying for you dear. I am glad they are taking good care of you at the hospital, and that your family is taking care of the boys.

DIS wouldn't let me post here yesterday. Weird.

I wanted to thank everyone for your support. Sorry, I'm way too behind to go back now and find the comments and quote them again!

We are getting close to retrieval date. Keep your fingers crossed and your hands clasped!

I have been thinking about you a lot recently. Know that you are in my prayers.

Actually I am open as to where we might stay. I feel like Country Mouse going to visit City Mouse with so many things to pick from and overwhelm me.

I think it just gives the illusion they have choices! :lmao: They can't choose what teacher or what period they have any classes. The only thing they can choose is what electives. We got it all figured out ~ thanks to her MS guidance counselor! She's awesome.

Yep.

It's good that she has a good counselor. My girls counselor they have had for high school sucks.

I sure hope one jumps out at me or I will change plans to something else.

Wow that is hot!!

You guys trips are so close!!

Hi Kelly!!

I am just waiting for Scotty to get home and then we are off to his Wednesday time trial race. And my peace and quiet time.

Did you watch The Voice last night? I liked it quite a bit. If you missed it they are repeating it tonight at 9pm on NBC.

Yeah, it is quite amusing

Man, no one hit their button on this rocker guy

just think his voice was not good enough

guitar playing was awesome, but that about it

I used to take Allegra and it was great for me. And all of a sudden I no longer have the allergy problems. Odd isn't it?

Oh yeah he's on board for that because he figures that I have made all of our vacation plans in the past and they have been good.

Odd but good - no allergies is great in fact! Both Roxy and Kyra suffer from them big time :sad2:

I
Glad you and Roxy are feeling better

I just discovered house last week when there was a marathon on

Boy, is that a good show :surfweb:

Thank you Kelly, I'm completely over the sickies now and even worked out this morning :yay: Roxy's allergies have also slacked off.

House is great, I'm glad he's gone all self-destructive again - that's when he's at his best!

Mike ~ I'm glad to hear that you and Roxy are feeling better! I hope things start calming down for you this week.

Thanks Carla, we're doing good now :goodvibes Things are as calm as they're going to get. The engineer is coming down from Portland this evening and will out here at 8am tomorrow to start troubleshooting our network problem.

I am trying to figure out how to register Abby for her classes for next year ... in HIGH SCHOOL!!! :sad1: Breaking my heart!!

When I went to high school you just showed up on the first day and they handed you a schedule... this is like college, registering for classes online! Crazy!

Yeah, it has gotten a lot more complicated. Our HS has its first day as a freshman only day so they can get the lay of the land and a handle on their schedule before they have to fight through the crowds :thumbsup2

It is hot as Hell!!!!

:rotfl2:

Sorry it was so hot, wish some of it would come our way!

When she has an attack it of course gives her the sniffles, but also gives her a bad stomach and sometimes a headache. It also saps away her energy so she has to take meds and just go to bed until it passes.

Great, now I'm singing head, shoulders, knees, and toes! :lmao:

Chele needs to stay at Pop and get the full Disney experience. I just don't think they'll get that true Disney vibe staying at a place like CB.

Glad it cooled off Kelly!

Quiet here today

what is everyone up to?

Just doing some wash.. NOthing exciting here :laundy:

I got up at 5:15am and went to the gym. Got in 45 minutes on an elliptical and then showered and on to work. Work day was very busy but finally slowed down (I'm using DISboards as my afternoon "wellness activity")

Got offered a job by Pasadena City College to be their VP of Information Technology. Six figure salary but it would mean living in Pasadena. Just can't see the money being worth the trade-off in quality of life and the misery of uprooting the family. Only plus would be that I'd be close to DL! :wizard:

I consider myself really lucky that I don't have them. We live in a high allergy area. Scotty, Loren and Kacy have allergies. Especially Scotty and Loren.

Pasadena sounds nice in so many ways and you would be so much closer to Disneyland. I mean face it you could be there all the time. I understand not wanting to uproot the family. But dreaming is nice.

Ok I've been off of here for a couple of days and I'm lost again.

Me too, and in this case I found that a couple of days only equaled 3 pages so not too bad :thumbsup2

Me too, so glad I don't suffer through what they do and wish I could just make it go away for them. If Kyra breathes the air around fresh-cut grass her face swells up and she has trouble breathing. When we bring her home from school if the neighbors have mowed she has to hold her breath and sprint for the house :sad2:

Yeah, I would be there all the time - I'd be packin' my annual pass. But we made a promise that we wouldn't move until both girls finished HS. Both Roxy and I had that happen and we won't do it to them.

Still, I'll only be 48 when Bean graduates

Oh wow...what an awesome job opportunity

But I completely understand. I am sure it would be hard on the kids and Roxy to just up and move :goodvibes

Its all good girl. Just jump right in

Just talking about not feeling well, temps and allergies mostly :rotfl:

I thought he was just okay. Just not great.

So many good singers

You are right, the comments back and forth between judges is quite amusing

Very young. Plenty of time to get to CA :thumbsup2
