My Dad even called my mom to make sure she didn't bring me or pick me up! That's all it took for me. Of course my mom was the sweetest and I really didn't get rebellious or anything until I was 20!! But I do know giving in want teach her anything and as long as she is in your house and you are paying for her things it should be your rules. It will help her be a better person as she gets older. I dread the teenage days with my boys!!

I celebrated the other day because I got it for $3.97 and it has gone up since then. I saw it for $4.19 at the corner gas station the other day.

Yep, today is the big day ~ 10 years old! We had dinner at Mellow Mushroom tonight, at their request of course and came home for cake and gifts. They are having a party at a place called Rock It Lanes on Sunday. They have an arcade, pool tables, bowling and roller skating. Should be fun! Gonna get my bowl on.

I had to check out Vote for the Worst. They are still voting for Paul and are taking personal credit for the fact that he wasn't even in the bottom 3.

They are hoping to eliminate the other 2 girls to have a Top 6 all guys.

I keep up with them too. I check them every week. I read some of their random breaking news (about past and current idols) and I have to admit, some of it is really funny.

On one hand, Pia will get a record deal regardless. But it IS unfair what VFTW does. But either way, they are ONLY voting for Paul. So HOW on earth did she end up with the "2nd lowest" fanbase(NON-VFTW) votes this week??

Personally, I think it was that outfit. I think she should send a tweet @ Gwen Stefani "you sabatoged me...were you intimidated?" I do love Gwen but that outfit was just a bad choice.

That said, I think the outfit that Pia had on LAST night would have gotten her more votes had she worn that (or something similar) on Wednesday. I'm sure there are more females than males voting, but surely the male voters would have upped the ante if she'd been a little...ahem...less frumpy? Someone on VFTW said that you could fit a mini cooper in the back of those pants.

You make me laugh! I just think while she has an amazing voice she is kind of a lackluster performer, ya know? She just stands there and belts it out. Even when she moves around it isn't exciting to watch. Once she gets that down she'll be amazing.

I read an article yesterday somewhere about how the voting process needs to be overhauled and I gotta say I agree. They have to be aware of the whole VFTW bs and they have to know that tween and teen girls can text in votes at the rate of 65497164614797 per minute for young, cute, male contestants, irregardless of their talent or lack there of. Why not make it one vote per landline, cell and internet. Every person could vote 3 times. Then we'd have less a popularity contest and more a talent competition.

But... what do I know?
