okay so here's my rundown summary of AI...

why do they ALWAYS say how "shocking" the results are..whether they are truly shocking or not?

I knew without a doubt that Casey would be saved, the second that Ryan said he was "going home".

Does anyone think this was fixed so that all 11 could go on the tour?? Had Thia or Stefano been the one "singing for their life", it just wouldn't make sense for the judges to use their save. But since Casey was at the bottom, it was easy for the judges to use it without anyone questioning why they did so.

Pia is boring to me. I really hope she does something upbeat next week, and I really WANT to like it so I'm hoping she does well.

I was not at all impressed by Thia's version of "Heatwave"...I thought the judges were going to call it Karaoke and was surprised when they were praising her. (It kind of felt like a D student bringing home a test with a C and the parents acting so thrilled, not being about to scold because, "well, she improved")

I want to see Paul do more Rod Stewart songs. LOL I love me some Rod Stewart.

Scotty was innovative but I don't think it worked like it could have. I'd like to see him try to sing something without the country twang and see how it turns out.

I agree that James is sounding very Adam Lambert. But I do like him a lot and admire him for working through his tourettes etc. And Adam didn't win last year but maybe he opened up the doors for someone in the same genre to win this season.

Well, you know we are going May 21st... wish you guys could join us. The kids are sad that you can't. They love Disney UJ style.

Cruise critic people were great....good people....I have invited one of them to join this thread....she is a Disney nut like us!!!! But dont compare Disneyland to DW....she gets defensive!! LOL She lives in CA and only has been to DL...(I gave her a set of DW maps on the cruise!!!)..She works in a Dentist office and has a Mickey head on her tooth (back molar)...it is cool....for her drivers license photo she put Mickey ears on and its on her CA license...how cool is that?? So you can see she is messed up like us....

I am driving to Ionia every day.....all Hwy M66, not good!....I think we are putting the house up for sale next year after Trav graduates, then look for something on the north side...north of Cheri..cut 20 minutes off my drive time.....
Give the kids a hug from UJ....sorry we probably wont make it in May.....I will let you know if we decide of something for the summer.....I got some codes in the mail..... We wouldnt go last week in July, thats my canoe trip weekend every year......guys trip, red meat, cigars, beer...I cant miss that!!!

We are a captive audience. I would love a hybrid they are priced out if the commuting publics budgets. And boy are you right about diesel.

Did anyone see the sign in the audience at the beginning of Wednesday's episode...it said "Steven Tyler, you're my mom's hall pass!" I was dying laughing, that is so awesome

has anyone ever heard of, or gotten a prayer rug in the mail?? We received this today, it's just a folded piece of paper and a letter describing it as a "prayer rug" and that you are to kneel on it and tell God what you so desire. Well, Mike thought it was fitting that we'd get this now, before our 2nd IVF cycle begins. We both did kneel on it, as the paper said. I don't believe that it has special powers or anything, but I do believe in the symbolism. You are supposed to pray, then fold it back up and send it back in the pre-paid envelope. We checked off that we did the prayer, and that we'd like to be prayed for. It came from a 60 year old church. Anyway I just thought it was really neat.

After the concert I shook his hand and told him how much he moved me. He told me that it wasn't him it was the Lord. I told him that I realized that but I also realized that he was his vessel. It was inspiring, and I will take the kids to see him again, I told Scotty that next time her will take the day off for it to see him too.

I probably sound silly but I still get tears when I think about it.

Our pastor a few weeks ago did something similar...picture yourself on a picnic with warm sunshine in a beautiful meadow. Then have Jesus sit next to you and whisper all these wonderful things. They were like: I love you! I think you are the greatest! I know every hair on your head. You are so special to me. I gave my life for you. Climb up on my lap and let me hug you. Look how beautiful that flower is -- and you are more beautiful to me. etc. I can't remember all of them but he went on for over 5 minutes of saying wonderfully loving and positive things. Stuff that we just forget to say to each other as we get so busy in life.

I was completely bawling ... but I felt so incredibly loved and special after he was done. It really made me stop and realize how much God DOES love us!
