My father passed away last year from ALS. It was (and still is) extremely difficult to deal with on a day-to-day basis. Just know that you have many people thinking of you and praying for you!

Here's an amazing twist: when my oldest sister called our cousin in Indiana to tell him of Mom's passing, he told her that his mother, our Mom's older sister (age 96) passed away this morning also. What are the odds? We say that neither one wanted to hear of the other's passing. They went to heaven together!
