This is the "change" he promised?

Face it. BO had to recycle the Clinton Aministration... He's a sound bite and a photo op....nothing more. He needs Hillary to run things for him. He doesn't have a clue!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Can't remember what I was watching, or who the talking head was, but it was still a good point. What was basically said was that with the economy swirling the bowl, the last thing the country wants right now (with the exception of the moveon(dot)org and "loony left wing bloggers), is change.

I agree, I think right now what the nation needs is stability and experience.

I didn't vote for the man, but he's going to be my Commander-in-Chief, so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt that he won't just screw everything up.

One of the reasons I voted for Obama was because I wanted change.

Why don't you just give him a chance. He hasn't even taken office yet. You do know he taught const. law for 10 years. I think you need to wait till he is in office and see what he does before you say he has no clue.

A chance to do what? What he promised? What he said in 100's of speeches throughout the campaign?

Wouldn't that be the reason people voted for the other guy(s)? Because they didn't agree (or want that)?

Yes, a lot of people did, and in the last two weeks, a lot of things have happened in the economy.

So, would you be comfortable with a bunch of in-experienced people being placed into positions of power when we are on the brink of a giant financial disaster? Or would you rather have some people who have a working knowledge of the problems in positions to fix them?

Change for change's sake is usually pretty stupid. There is a time and a place for change. You have to be careful with it. Clinton ran on the "outsider/change" ticket in 92, and when he got in office, the changes he made earned him 6 years of a Republican Congress.

I'm not the only one who thinks he doesn't have a clue. He doesn't have a fresh or independant thought. Huffington Post isn't too happy with him either.:rotfl2:

What does teaching const. law have to do with being a leader. He's a smooth talker....as long as he's reading off a teleprompter. Period.

A chance to clean up the mess of the last 8 years.

Did you miss the debates? I suggest you watch them on YouTube. :confused3 ;)

That would be too easy, looking up voting records, that takes up too much time, it's much easier to just make stuff up :thumbsup2 They've been doing it for 8 years, they'll do it for 8 more, it must be very sad to live in that kind of universe

Again, you're kidding right?

You're the one who said nobody could bash W for the last 8 years, lest they be called un-American.

It's times like this that I like to quote a line from Friends, "Hello pot, it's the kettle, you're black".

At least it's refreshing that the President-Elect is making appointments based
on who will do the best job, unlike our current President who appoints political hacks........i.e. Michael Brown (FEMA) and Alberto Gonzales just to name a couple.

It's a matter of perspective whether you call them hacks or not.

Sure is a matter of perspective, and I'll take the perspective of a majority of
Americans who have rejected this administration's policies and decisions. Many
of the people Bush has appointed have made decisions based on an ideology instead of what would have been good for the country, which is why we have the mess known as the occupation of Iraq.

Or, he's appointed people like Michael "Brownie", who had no clue what they
were doing, and thus contributed to one of the greatest tragedies our country
has ever seen.

Not so much actually, and that's the reason behind the debate.

Get over it???

Um... no.

Wait for the change you say? I think we can see that not much has changed.
So, you think Obama's cabinet will be just like the group who has been in there for the last 8 years? Are you saying you thought "Brownie", Gonzalez and Rummie did a good job? Or is it the obvious addition of style, grace and class that is bothering you in the head position of our country? Extreme intellect will also be a new concept in the POTUS; do you disapprove? Huge change is coming! I can hardly wait.
