The day I arrive I land at 11am.

my plan is to go to Epcot this day. This is the Saturday after thanksgiving.

at 7am when individual lightning lane purchases open and genie +... I'll be on a plane. Southwest.

I am hoping for good WiFi on the plane. I really want a Remy lightning lane..

I'm worried if I get crappy WiFi they will be gone! I land for layover in Chicago at 735 so if I do have crappy WiFi I'll still be able to get on about an hour after they open..

Am I over thinking this?!?
I actually debated moving my flight to late the night before but there isn't availability at the resort to add a night.. and then I got to thinking that's just dumb..

No, it shouldn’t stress you out. It’s a … 3-minute theme park ride? Life will go on if you miss it. But you have good plans in place.

A lot of things will need to fall into place for you, but it's definitely workable. Give it your best shot and see how it goes. We've found wifi on SW to be pretty decent most times! If not, enjoy your day at EPCOT. Good luck and safe travel!

You know you can just buy Remy for $9 or whatever the cost is when you are there?

I thought that's what the OP is hoping to do, but is concerned they might be sold out of ILL if they don't get on early. To be honest, I'm not sure if or when ILL might be selling out for Remy.

Just a thought (and now I might be overthinking it!!).... if you are hoping to purchase an ILL at 7AM while on the plane, I would probably make sure I did online checkin to my resort prior to the flight. You need to be a resort guest to purchase ILL prior to 9AM, and online checkin might verify the system recognizes your reservation. It might not be necessary, but something to consider prior to the flight.

Is there someone at home that isn't going that could try for you? I just did this yesterday for my sister's family. They were on a plane at 7 am (eastern time) and I was able to log into her account and get them a Remy boarding group. By they time they landed and got to Epcot they were able to head right to Remy, their boarding group was called as they were pulling into the Epcot parking lot.

It never sold out when I was there last month.

I just looked, 11am ET, it's sold out. So, it does eventually sell out, but it takes a while compared to some others. For some reason, Thrill Data isn't showing Remy on it's LL heat map. I think the ~7:30am layover in Chicago should be fine. Try to use data at the airport if you can. 1pm VQ should be promising too, since I have read that those are usually open for an hour, not 3s, like Rise was.

I'm not as familiar with the Thrill Data site (I'll have to check it out!), but since Remy isn't a regular Genie+ LL attraction, only ILL and BG. Could that be the reason you don't see it?

I don't know. Rise shows up, but Rise has SB. Thrill Data is amazing!

I don't think it will be that bad. We will be at WDW that week/weekend too. Only Rise has been selling out that fast. Remy is not that popular. They lasted today somewhere between 10 and 11am ET. This week has been very busy at the parks. Only onsite guests can book ILL at 7am. Also, not as many people have park reservations for Epcot. In fact, all parks, as of yesterday, showed reservations for Saturday. If they don't have a reservation, then they can't get an ILL before 2pm. So, that also helps. Just try SW wifi. If it's a no go, then get off the plane ASAP and try it right after you get off the plane. 1pm VQ is also a viable option. Good luck. Try not to stress. I say try, because if you are like me, you probably will anyway
