Last year we stayed at Pop Century, we bought the mugs and love them ...still use them everyday!! My question is this... I know they are only good at resort they were purchased at, so I am not trying to cheat Disney...but my hotel room has a coffee maker. Will I get in trouble for carrying around a Pop Century mug in Port Orleans riverside IF I DO NOT FILL IT IN THERE RESTAURANT. I want to fill it in my hotel room. I do not want to have the expense of 2 more $12 mugs. My thought is to make a pot of coffee in the morning and take the mugs to the parks with us. Thanks for the help

You shouldn't have any problem at all. It's not forbidden to carry old mugs. ;)

Actually, we use ours as travel mugs, so my old POR mug got brought into AKL, and noone blinked, so I'd say your experience should be the same.

That sounds like a good plan. If they give you a coffee maker, why the heck not?

Oh, BTW... I've used my POP mug at POFQ to refill cold water, and hot water for the tea I brought with me.

I would see no problem with it. You paid for the room therefore you paid for the coffee and I would think you could carry it in whatever you wanted. Sounds like a good idea to me :)

I agree--no rule against using your old mugs for coffee or tea you make in your room, water from fountains in parks, anything like that.
