This is just ridiculous

Okay so I was able to start my 90+10 booking online on Thursday the 18th. Thursday I booked Sept 16-26th. Friday I booked the 27th, today I booked the 28th. And tomorrow I plan on booking our last ADR for the 28th.

Well, I just got off the phone with a CM and now I am second-guessing every single ADR I made. We are unable to book fastasmic online, and we planned to do it on the 29th. We leave on the 30th, so we can't just do the next one if we can't get it.

My understanding was that the phone system does the same thing... 90+10, then opens up the 11th day, 12th day etc. each subsequent day if you are staying longer than ten days. Evidently not. She said I can book it that way online, but I will now have to wait until JULY 1ST to try and book fantasmic for the 29th of sept.

Now mind you, people who can make their ADR's tomorrow doing 90+10 will be able to book fantasmic for the 29th... TOMORROW! But I have to wait until july 1st? Thats a huge difference... and with it being so few shows... I'm sure we'll be sh** outta luck!

That doesnt seem to make much sense... and now of course I may have to go back and change every single ADR I got to re-arrange our days so we can go. Of course I've shown the kids the video of fantasmic online and they are super excited! Great.

What would you do? Change everything you have and take the chance of now not getting anything good for the other days... or leaving it the way it is and hope and pray to get fantasmic that night?? This really just sucks.

Call back - the cm was incorrect.

You can book 90 + 10 and then when you are 89 days you can still book +10, etc

I'd just take my chances and call tomorrow morning to try to book Fantasmic. Every CM seems to understand the system differently and perhaps if you point out that it works this way online, they'll let you book F! via the phone.

Good luck getting the F! dining package, it's a real bear for everyone this year. If you can't get it tomorrow, I'd try every morning until you hit the 90 days before you need the F! package.

I wouldn't go and shift my entire vacation at this point, I'd wait and see.

Definitely call back. The CM was mistaken. I called on 9-14(my 90 mark) and was able to make a few ADRs (all I had at that time) However, when I tried to make one for 9-23 she said I was past my 90+10 mark. She said I would have to call back the next day. I did try this but that was the day the system was down. The next day it went online and I was able (after straigtening out my phone #) to book all online.

Instead of rearranging all your ADRs, wouldn't it be easier just to plan to get to Fantasmic 90 minutes before the show?
You are not standing for 90 minutes- they do let you in the theater to get your seats. There are concession stands and rest rooms inside the theater which helps amuse the kids while you wait.
Last time we went we just planned some down time for our Fantasmic wait. We brought sandwiches from Earl of Sandwich and also arranged to meet another family from out of state that we knew would be there that week. So we just had a picnic and a chat while we waited.
You could bring in food or glow sticks or other things to amuse the kids. It's do-able.

It's part of 90+10. Anyone arriving Sept. 18 or earlier and staying on property can make reservations today for up to 10 days' worth of vacation, so through Sept. 27. If you are staying on property, you will be able to make reservations tomorrow for Sept. 19-28.

I would never rearrange all my ADR's for the Fantasmic dinner package. There is no longer a separate entrance and you still need to get in line for Fantasmic quite a while ahead of time even with the package.... just get in line and see Fantasmic if you can't get the package. The time savings is not that great. Why rearrange a whole trip over something so trivial IMO?

i also just realized that you said you will be in disney in september - that is not a busy time at all so i don't think that it will be as bad as trying to get ADRs christmas week or during summer vacation.

getting ADRs is difficult in September beacuse of free dining. the parks are not crowded but the restaruants sure are. This will be our third year doing FD. I say call back tomorrow morning. GOOD LUCK!

The real only difference with the The package is the wait in line. The place is so big that you most likely will get seat. We have done it with and without. And there was really no difference.

Marielynn, where do you live at? July first is in 11 days, unless I'm missing something?? How is it in less than a week??
