Hello all and welcome to another inkedupmomma PTR!!! Welcome back to all my favorite loyal loves! To the new or lurking, come on in, I don't bite and I'm chock full of fun and awesome spelling mistakes! I promise I won't dissapoint you!
You may be asking yourself, what does her PTR title mean?? WELL, lemme tell ya! I am the type of person who very rarely strays from my comfort zone. So, this is how I roll means you can expect much of the same goodness as most of my other trips! But I'm not rolling, I'm bouncing back!!! That was just a clever way for me to lure you in, bwahahahahahahahah! Hope it worked, or I'm just gonna look like a dork talking to myself about how clever I am
Either way, *I* think *I* am hilarious! Plus keeping a PTR is a good way of helping me keep all of my random thoughts in one spot. I have what I like to call "post- it" brain. I have a horrible "remembory" (as my daughter likes to call it). So, I rely on post-its like no other. I write everything down so I don't forget! PTR/TR's help keep that info in one convenient spot, and also allows for awesome advice and tips from my wonderful Dis family and friends! Through the Dis I have made incredible friends, and have planned the most spectacular trips. I know every trip to Disney is magical, with or without insider info you can find through sites like this, but I truly thank the Dis whole heartedly for all the awesomeness it has allowed my trips become!
So without getting any mushier I bring you to the cast, the crew, the who!
Me! Jenn, age 28..will be 29 by the time our trip rolls around! Like Diser BEKA, I will be celebrating my first annual 29th birthday this year. So when you read I am 29 again next year, don't be shocked
Anywho, I am the planner, OCD style of course! I need something to keep me going all year, and Disney planning is it! Some of you may be wondering what Inkedupmomma means. Well, no, I am not a stamper.. I don't even know what a stamper actually is, but that is the question I am asked most often lol. Inked up means tattooed. yep, I am a tattooed mom. But not like the one recently featured on CNN who tattooed her kids! (here is a link to a great blog about it and the actual video http://blogs.babble.com/strollerderby/2010/01/04/mom-tattoos-six-kids-with-homemade-tattoo-gun/ in case you have no clue what I am talking about!)
My favorite character is Snow White! I met her for the first time on my last trip and blushed a shade of red that I didn't know I was capable of! It was awesome! Although she is my fav, I also love NMBC! Actually, I am the type who loves them all! Disney history fascinates me, and I love reading about why so many people are obsessed with Disney!
DD- Kayla/KP/Kaybooky- Just turned 9 the week before Christmas and is my little Tinkerbell, sassy , pixie sized and all! I'm sure it is no mystery, her fave character is Tinkerbell! They have a lot in common! KP has developed a Disney obsession like her momma and I can't lie, it makes me happy! Unlike most kids who just love a good Disney trip, Kayla is obsessed with the history behind it all! One of the first things she asked for, for Christmas was books on the history of disney! Along with Tink, she has developed an obsession with the Muppets! Another thing I am thrilled about! So yeah, she's pretty much the coolest kid in the world.. I may be biased
This will be her 4th trip! She is NOT a huge eater, but says that BOMA is a must do for each trip! Also will finally meet almost all height requirements for all rides this year! We are at 48 inches finally! yah baby!

DS-Jack- will be 4 by our next trip! Named after all the great Jacks, but mainly Jack Skellington..yes I am serious. Just so happens his dads name is John, so I got Jack like I wanted, but technically he is John..although he is NEVER called that and I do not tell anyone! So put it out of your mind right now! OK, Jack is almost 6 years younger than Kayla but weighs almost as much as she does, and is not all that much smaller
He is all boy, all the time! A super duper ridiculous handful! Our doctors suggested at his 3 year old well visit that he may be on the autism spectrum
Of course no parent wants to hear that, but we had no clue why his behavior most times is horrendous. We have since seen speicalists, and he has started school, and his behavior is MUCH better! The autism specialist along with his teachers have no clue why the doctors ever even suggested he may be on the spectrum
At most he may wind up being ADD/ADHD, but we will cross that bridge when we get to it, I am 100% anti meds if it can be avoided! We are hoping that his behavior is much better in Disney this year! He is the type to run away in a blink of an eye, so being in such a big place with him was a bit scary at times. He LOVES Disney, and talks about it daily! Again, my plan is working, lol! His favorite movie is Cars , Peter Pan and Toy Story, but LOVES princess castle (Cinderella's castle) and Tinkerbell as well. Unlike his sister, he LOVES food! He will eat most things but of course is cursed with food allergies (nuts/eggs..but not baked eggs...)! Also hoping to get his food challenge done this spring to find out if he is still allergic tthese things! There is a good chance he may have outgrown them!! So keep your fingers crossed! This will be his 3rd trip! He is DYING to go back on the monorail, that is his favorite "ride"!
