This is HORRIBLE!!

Me and my mom were coming out of target and we saw a big crowd of people around a car so we decided to check out was going on. There was this woman beating up her child that was maybe 4 or 5 years old! The little girl was against the car tire trying to block her moms kicks an punches to her face, The poor little girl was screaming and crying and the mom didnt even care. She just continued to beat her own child up. We were both shocked that nobody called the police so we ran into target and got one of the police men that stand at the front of the store. When the police pulled the woman off, the little girls face was covered in bruises and blood and it was horrible! I just needed to vent this out. It makes me soooo mad that some crazy people can hit their own children!!

i'm sorry but at 4ft 10 , i would've still gotten my way in there mMYSELF and gotten this woman away from that little girl!

The people just watched! That made me so mad. The woman was put into the police car but we went home before we could see what happened to the girl. I hope she is ok and far away from her mother.

how come no one had the sense to use a cell phone to call 911??? I would of.. omg this soooooooooo breaks my heart even more....

how can you beat an innocent little child??



ETA: i reread the original OP.. i thought they were in the car.. this so makes it totally worse.. people stood there too affraid to grab the woman?? wth???

I can't believe this story. People stood around watching and NOBODY got in there and helped the kid???? This makes NO sense and I can't believe it is true.

People who don't want to help usually ignore it or do what you did - try to get someone else to help. They do not stand around watching.

I am glad you got the policeman. All those watching were also beating up the kid. Standing by and not doing anything to help is just as bad as doing the kicking.
