I can't leave the house without being sunburnt.
I need like SPF 958938593859285, I'm almost sure of it.
I had SPF 30 on, which I know isn't really high enough, but it's all we have. I wasn't even in the sun for 40 minutes and I'm burnt.
It's getting really annoying, it's like even if I wanted to leave the house, I shouldn't because I'll just end up burnt.

Does anybody else have horribly light skin like me and deals with sunburns all summer?

I NEVER get tan; always burnt.
I could lay on my stomach for twenty minutes with like SPF45 on, and come in with burns on my shoulders. It's annoying, I must agree :(

i usually get burnt. like crazy.

but lately... im getting tan!!!

my skin is like literly white and really pale. but now it gettin tanned!!!

That is exactly why I don't like sunscreen...
Anyways, theres chemicals in some of them that are not good for you...

I have the lightest skin. ever. Ive never been beaten in a whiteness contest.

I was burnt outside yesterday after 10 minutes. Its BAD if Im out for 20 minutes or more. My skin bubbles. >_<

I'm so sorry for you girls.

I'm incredibly opposite of fair skin.

I got my first burn in sixteen years, and thats because i put tanning oils on and layed out by a pool. thats like triple the tan.

I could probably beat you, haha. I've never been beaten either. It hurts to look at my legs at the pool. It seriously burns your eyes. Thats how white I am. ):

I feel your pain, Hilary.
I'm the palest kid I've ever met, and no matter how often I reapply sunscreen, I still end up burnt.

For once i'm not getting burnt...

I'm using target brand spray spf 50 sunscreen.

It works amazing

I have light skin. I put on strong sunscreen.

Well I usually get burnt once a year and that turns into a tan but the tops of my feet burn. And I highly doubt any girls legs are whiter than mine. I don't think they have seen sunlight for longer than2 minutes tops in the past year.lol. I have Amazingly cool tan lines.lol.

I'm sorry:hug: (if your burnt riht now than air hug)

I heard anything with a number over like 30 or 45 SPF is just a gimmick.
The real key is just to keep applying.

I love the spray on sport stuff because it really works, doesn't make you sticky, and you don't need help to apply it. Carry it with you and put on a fresh coat every half hour or so.
You can also buy SPF face wash now and use that before you even put on sunscreen if your face is prone to burning. C:

I am lucky to have naturally tan skin, but I still protect it.

I kinda get burnt and I kinda get a tan..
It depends but I have fair skin though...

I still have a farmers tan on my arms and a tan line from a hair tye on my wrist from like May, and its really noticeable.

Sunscreen makes me feel gross. Ugh, it's just so oily. I can only stand to use the Ocean Potion stuff because it smells marvelous =)

My legs actually, aren't that pale. For some reason they're less prone to burning (although they did get a bad one last week), they tend to like freckle and darken a bit. And my feet are tanned.

I start out each summer with a HUGE burn...and then after that I don't burn anymore. This burn is unavoidable. I have the fair and freckled Irish skin...and I just BURN. My dad wears probably SPF like 800 and he still burns as well. Lately I've been just getting tan which makes me happy.
Good luck.
I also learned that andything over like SPF 40 isn't really as good like SPF 70 is the same as SPF 40 because it's impossible to go over 40. That probably didn't make any sense...
But yeah try a new sunscreen and maybe a hat!

i got a HORRIBLE burn on my back, i think, two summers ago. It was peeling for like 3 weeks after. I had really cool tanlines though, because the way my bathing suit was cut it had the two straps down my back then a strap across my back holding the two together. So it made a semi-circle shape, it looked like I had a watermelon on my back for the longest time. I still have scars from it on my shoulders, it hurt SOOOOOOOOOOO frickin bad.

I use SPF like 80 now. lol:thumbsup2

You're not alone.
I'm the whitest kid in my school haha.
My legs NEVER see sun..and my arms are tan, compared to my stomach.

If you get burned quickly, then make sure you put on lots of sun screen. But don't put it all on at once, make sure that you get a fair amount when you go out side, and after a while, put some more on. In your case with SPF 30, put it on every 15 to 20 minutes, just to be safe. And if you do get burned, treat it well. Put some Aloe on it, and if you wear something on your face [like make-up] don't wear it, it could damage your skin more.

Also, you could try wearing: a hat, shorts that go down to the knee, and a T-shirt that is sorta baggy, and has a sleeve going down to almost the elbow. That would protect: your head and face, most of your leg, most of your arm, and your shoulders.

I hope that helps you!!

I don't have a sunburn, but a terrible tan line on my feet from my shoes...
