Within each country, which shows and/or attractions are absolutely the best?

DH and I love to watch the acrobats in China. We also have to see Miyuki the candy artist in Japan, as well as the drummers there. I also like the boat ride in Mexico and Maelstrom in Norway.

::MickeyMo 100% agree! The American Adventure is also neat as well. ::MinnieMo

I feel like WS is more of a meandering sort of place, than a rush to get to certain attractions sort of place. We like to wander around, look through shops, and absorb the various cultures. It's funny, because I always forget the "attractions" that are in WS, and yet its one of my favorite places!

I agree, American Adventure, Japanese candy maker, Chinese acrobats, Norway boat ride, plus I like the movie in France (and the chair balancer act), and Off Kilter, the musical group near Canada.

Wow, we like so much there--agree with everything the other posters said. DD7's favorites are the France and China movies, Miyuki the candy maker (Japan) and the Kidcot mask making stations. The sushi restaurant in Japan is a great stop to relax, soak in the view and get away from it all for a bit. Oh, and the World Showcase Players (UK) are hysterical!

HTH. Have fun!

Love American Vybe at the American pavillion. I make sure to catch them each day I'm there. The Chinese acrobats are fantastic too, as is Off Kilter in Canada. I always look at the new stuff in the train garden in Germany and make sure to go to the back garden in the UK. Both boat rides, El Rio del Tiempo and Maelstrom and a great way to relax and sit during the hot days.

A glass of champagne in France.
Sushi in Japan while watching the drummers.
Funnel Cake with a cold beer in American Adventure.
Pretzel & beer in Germany while watching Illuminations.
Margaritas & nachos in Mexico while watching Illuminations.

...KidKot stations for the kids...

Can you see our routine? :flower:

Thank you guys. Today is "Make a plan for the World Showcase Day" for me and I had to ask the question. I'm going through my Passporter checking off attractions. I have another question: O'Canada is that the Off Kilter? I don't see that name in my book. And the show in America is good too, right? (The American Adventure Show)

Off Kilter is a High energy, Rock/Bagpipe show performed in the Canada pavillion. O Canada is a 360º movie shown inside the Canada pavillion - 2 different experinces.

American Adventure is very impressive. American Vybe is a singing group that sings in the Pavillion - very good.

My favorite show in the WS is Mo'Rockin - It's a North African influenced rock band that plays outside in the Morocco Pavillion. They have a belly dancer too.

Mo'Rockin & the Daiko Drummers in Japan are my favorite WS shows.

WS is not a place to rush thru - there are so many little things to see & do. I could spend days there.

We could easily spend a whole day just at WS. DH really enjoys the movie in Canada and the show American Adventure. I love the boat ride in Mexico and the Maelstrom in Norway. Every time we go, we stop at the pastry shop in France for some of their fabulous pastries and a glass of wine. I could go on and on. You definitely have to take time to take it all in or you'll miss out on a lot. :flower:

I love the movie in France... and having a late morning snack at the Pastry Shop (don't make me say it in French!) ;)

But.. we love the atmosphere in Germany the best. DH loves to get his afternoon beer, I love the shops there..... it just becomes a fun spot to sit and relax and people watch.

OH! If you want to take a nap, the American Adventure is a great place. As much as I LOVE the show... I always nod off! LOL

Not that I am thinking to rush through the World Showcase it's just that I want to get to do some of the good stuff at each country before my kids get cranky. We will have to leave mid day because my youngest still naps. Thank you all for your replies. It's a lot easier to plan for this now. :)

Mexico - the outdoor feeling of the street with the pyramid and volcano backdrop.

Norway - the drop into the oil rig scene.

China - acrobats (they're so cute)

Germany - the fairy tale architecture, especially in the early evening with the setting sun shining off the buildings

Italy - great spot to watch Reflections of Earth

U.S.A. - Ben and Mark

Japan - the gardens

Morocco - I have a picture that looks so much like the real Morocco that you can't tell the difference (and I've been fortunate to have been to the real place)

France - the movie - music plus mood plus scenery

United Kingdom - the only full service restaurant overlooking the lagoon

Canada - the waterfall
