In the frst 32 years of WDW's existence, it closed ONE TIME for weather related reasons.

Tomorrow (9/26) it will close for the 4th time in just 7 weeks!!!!

Just heard on the way in to work today on NPR that the last time four hurricanes hit one state in the same season was back in the 1800s in Texas. So this has been an extraordinary hurricane season in Florida.

I believe the parks closed one day for Charlie, two days for Francis & one day for Jeanne.

WDW was closed 1 day for Charley, 2 days for Francis, and 1 day for Jeanne. All in a little over 6 weeks, when it had only closed once for weather reasons in the previous 32 years.
