If you knew that the next time you went to THE WORLD would be your absolute last...... What is the one thing you would do or see.

If I get a few replies I think this will help me plan my trip, there are so many disers who have already gone.. and seemed to be sooo experienced. We have 9 days, so please help me make a Magical and Memorable trip!!!! :disrocks:

:thanks: :thanks: :thanks: :mickeyjum :donald: :goofy:

At MK, Splash Mountain is my must-do, with POTC a close second.

At MGM, it's a tie btw RnRC and ToT.

I'd say these are my top 4 attractions at WDW.

While the rides are thrilling, dining is great, and characters are fun, if I knew that my next visit to WDW would be my absolute last, I'd take more time to soak up the atmosphere of Disney. Instead of rushing from ride to ride or character to character, I'd encourage my family to slow down & notice the details. There are so many at each park. I would just savor the entire experience! And I wouldn't let things I'd read here to either inflate my expectations so that I'm disappointed when they aren't met OR jade my opinions of something before I even try it myself.

Lastly, I think I would do something special that isn't even in the parks, such as the Grand Tea at the GF, or a dinner show, or something like that.

Have fun planning!

I agree that you want to enjoy the magic of Disney. I love All the shows, All the fireworks and ALL the parades. I went when I was 14 and then returned with my DH when I was in my late 30's (and have since been again). All of the things that I had remembered as a kid were even more wonderful as an adult. Not rushing from ride to ride is a great idea. However some planning will be neccessary because the parades and shows are at certain times. I love the Lion King show at the Animal Kingdom along with the Safari ride, The Backlots Tour and Fantasmic at MGM, The Country Bear Jamboree and the Haunted Mansion at the Magic Kingdom. The last 2 times I have gone I missed the Hall of Presidents (will not miss it this time). Epcott has some awesome stuff too. Soarin is the new ride and turtle talk with Crush is a must (so I hear). I am not a roller coaster person, but my DH loves them all and is looking forward to the new one at AK. He loves the Tower too, not me!!!!! It's a Small World and Pirates of the Carribean also bring fond memories. A must is the character meals. Chef Mickey's is alot of fun. Last year we had breakfast in the castle--I couldn't get the smile off my face. These things MUST be reserved (can do up to 180 days early). Good Luck and have a Magical time (not hard to do at Disney). pixiedust:

I would hold my children really tight while washing Wishes.

I would make my stay as long as my bank account would allow, so as to experience as much as I possibly could.

I'd wander around Animal Kingdom in the evening when the lights are on (usually during the Winter EMH) and also ride Expedition Everest. Man, I love the entire Everest experience. Disney hit a home run with this new attraction.

The other thing I would do is wander The World Showcase during the evening and end things with Illuminations. Spaceship Earth during EMH evenings is amazing as well and my last trip to the world wouldn't be complete without taking a ride on SE.

Other than all that, I'd wander around the MK at night and then ride POTC and HM.

Do you see a pattern here?...The parks at night are magical!

i would experience a behind the scenes tour and ask every crazy question i have ever had about at WDW in over the 20 times i have been there. I would want to ride in the front of the monorial and be the family that opens MK on the Train with the characters.

i would spend my last day in MK.Walk around and soak up the atmosphere, watch all the families having a great time.Meet all the characters and have fun with them.I would ride my favourite rides over and over.
Then at the end of the day i would watch spectro with a tear in my eye as usual (the magic always gets me).
Finally i would sit on main street with a cookie and coffee and soak up my final half hour or so before they throw me out.
I feel so sad now-no more disney ever? :scared: :crazy2: :badpc:

We did this on my DH's birthday. We stood on Main Street and the six of us held each other while we watched Wishes. What a memory.

If it was my last trip ever I'd spend it in the WS at Epcot. Looking in all the stores, at all the buildings. Watching the movies and the street performers. Soaking it all up. So many great memories there.

Spend two weeks and see and do it all. I cannot nail myself down any more than that. Sad huh?

I would spend a whole day in the World Showcase, watching all the different performers and tasting different foods. I would slow down and notice details.

My goodness. That is EXACTLY what I was thinking! Well said!

Take the time to relax and enjoy the time spent with your family. Don't worry if you don't do it all and see it all. Pick the highlights, then relax and enjoy. Hit the parks first thing in the morning to enjoy the rides and characters, take an afternoon break for a nap and or swim and do something fun at night. I wouldn't miss Wishes, Cirque or Hoop Dee Doo (I've never seen me kids crack up so much). Maybe try for the Wishes cruise on the last night. Now that would be a great memory! pixiedust:

Splash Mountain is our family favorite, so we would ride it over and over-as many times as we possibly could.

Now that I think about it, that is what we do on each trip anyway! :teeth:

tower of terror over and over again! and then dinner at the california grill

I enjoy just setting on top of the Train Station at MK. It's a Magical feeling for me just to look down Main Street USA to the Castle. :wizard:

I would do anything & everything my DS wanted to do. I would try & make the trip the most magical for HIM, so that he would always have the memories of us having fun in Disney World. It would not matter if all he wanted to do was ride Buzz Lightyear over and over again, that is what we would do.

I would build the memories for him & I, of us having fun in Disney World together.

I would stay as long as I could so that I could take my time and enjoy everything. I would spend ample time in each park and also take time to go to Downtown Disney and play mini-golf.

Someone else said that they'd stay until there bank account allowed them to, I definitely agree. I would go through and do all my favorites or things I'd been meaning to do...I want to try the GF Tea, the tank tour at Epcot, etc. I'd also want to be with my family, I think that'd be my happiest memory of Disney. Wow, this question made me sad. I'm glad this is just a hypothetical question!
