been awhile since I posted over here...been checking in and out the last few days...our computer was down!

I loved Ally's Star of the Week pics...great job on the poster! your holiday's looked to be filled with lots of fun and love!

Hi Connie!! Ugggh--your computer was down--that's not fun! Glad to see you posting again!! Thanks! Ally was sooo excited to be the Star of the Week! And she made sure that we used EVERY princess on that poster!! And yes, we had a wonderful Christmas!! I hope yours was just as nice!!

No. We bought the Crown Package (hair, nails, and makeup). I brought Ally's Cinderella gown with us. Anyone from the BBB can go to the Exposition Hall and get their picture taken by the photographer there. You don't get the printed pictures but they put them on your Photopass and you can print as many as you want when you get home!! I didn't know all of this until we got there and the FGIT gave me a brochure with a map to the Exposition Hall. No need to spend the big bucks!!

Oh good! I was not sure if you had to buy the image package before you can go to the Exposition Hall for photos. We are planning to get the photopass cd--so that is perfect!! We are looking at doing the Crown package since Lilian likes to get her nails painted.

Yeah--they really don't make that very clear to customers prior to your BBB appt. I was pleasantly surprised when the FGIT mentioned it to me!!

Becky! I just found out that my mom has been planning a Universal trip with my uncle and his girlfriend and her teen daughters. Since I'm in my 20's, my mom thought the daughters would have fun hanging out with me, so she offered to pay for me to go along We're going May 20-25!!
As of now, it's an UO/IOA trip, but the girlfriend/daughters have never been to FL, let alone Disney, so I'm going to try to see if I can convince them to do a day trip to either MK or HS. If so, I'd love if our plans matched up with yours and maybe we could have a mini-DISMeet! I'll keep you posted as plans develop!

I am (obviously ) not Becky but I thought I would comment on what outfit to bring. We are bringing Tinkerbell since it is "cooler" than most of the other dresses. Disney unveiled a new Tinkerbell and new Ariel on the Disney Shopping both of which might work well. Pocahontas would be cooler too!

I bought Ally's costume at the Disney Store!! I think it's a great idea to bring her costume with you!! Since we had a 8:00 a.m. BBB appt. I dressed Ally in her costume before we left the Poly. and I brought her change of clothes in a jumbo zip lock bag. So she wore her costume to the BBB and then to our breakfast at CRT. She decided to change into her other outfit after CRT so I put her costume in the jumbo zip lock bag (which worked great since it was raining so much--it kept it totally dry)!! I think anything light, airy, and possibly sleeveless would work best for August!!

Hi Julia!! How are you?!?! Thanks so much for joining in on my PTR!! Yay! Our trip overlaps!! I had HUGE issues with my DD's outfits so I cannot recommend the lady who made them--I'm having to start over in terms of searching for customs this time--sorry (I almost didn't receive them and several friends of mine never received their orders).

I don't think that's silly at all!! I've seen pictures on here of grown women who have done it before!! Who doesn't want to be a princess, right?!

Oh--and ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!! What a game last night!! I didn't think I was going to make it through without passing out or vomiting! I had to quit watching when we didn't make the 3rd down in the 4th quarter--right before we made that interception on the 2!! WOW!! National Champions baby!!!!!!!

Just read all 21 pages! I noticed on your signature you had a new PTR - I loved reading your reports on your trip last May.. fingers crossed no rain this time!

I am also a D23 member! I got my membership as a birthday present last September, and I bought myself the same blue hoodie jumper, I loved wearing it in WDW last month - you'll see other people wearing the exclusive merchandise in the parks and know they're members too!

Looking forward to reading more updates... btw have you got dates planned for your December trip yet?

It was pretty bad more so since it was DH's first time there! Hopefully this year it will be nothing but sunshine and I'll just have to lather on the sunscreen and drink water. I hope hope hope hope!

Isn't the hoodie lovely?! it's so soft on the inside - it's one of those things I don't want to put in the laundry too much because it'll lose that nice fleece?!

While I was reading your PTR yesterday, I looked over to see what DF was watching on tv - and it was an Alabama college football game (that's your team right?) !! .. It was an old game I think that ESPN were re-showing (against Texas?) he loves American football and lately it's being shown much more on the sports channels here - I try to follow the games but I don't quite understand the rule yet lol.

I noticed you put some photo links to your fb account so I thought I'd add you.. I like having Disney friends on fb!!

DF & I are looking at going to WDW around December 12th after three nights in New York.. never been there, can't wait to start planning properly!! I'm calling it our 'engagement vacation' .. any excuse to wear the 'just engaged' buttons at WDW!
