This is a dumb question but when's the best time to plan for a halloween trip?

My friends & I really wanted to go to there for the Halloween Horror Nights event but couldn't make it. We were planning on going for the opening of it next year. However we were trying to find info about the added costs of it to prepare us since we're planning on DW this year a few times we're gonna be poor since we're college students lol. I can't find that much on it since it ended (like the added price, etc) Is there a time when we should plan on a date? Naturally to cut down costs we wanted to buy plane tickets as early as possible. Does anyone have any info they could help us w/? or better yet your experience from the Horror Nights? *I tried a board search but it's not working for me for some reason. Thanks

The new website should be coming online in early summer with the dates listed. The only thing they probably won't show until later is the AP rates for the tickets. I go opening night every year and it's great.
