I said it was cleaner than some of the songs chosen for the super bowl. I’m not a prude, I just don’t like cursing or the n word (or any racial slur) in songs.

We all have lines in the sand so I'll give you that. In fairness you suggested a song chalk full of in your face sexual comments in lieu of the ones played as if the alternative didn't have any objectionable material. Or at least that's how it sounded by saying cleaner. I can't imagine the other song you mentioned being considered any more appropriate for the half-time show given its content IMO but yes a YMMV scenario may fit.

I like all types of music. I thought the show was better than many and fell short of some others -I liked it. Snoop and Dr Dre are legends in their genre -I don't listen to them often but once and a while I'll give them a listen.

Really? That's interesting that you were surprised by that. What do you think music producers like Dre do? Being able to play instruments, write music and songs, and understand music theory are all prerequisites for this type of job. Producers are inherently musically talented individuals.

That's actually not true. In the current valuations, 7 of the top 10 valued sports teams are American, including the top 3 - Dallas Cowboys, NY Yankees and the NY Knicks. 33 of the top 50 are teams from American leagues as well according to Forbes.

The only thing I thought was a problem with it was the structure of the stage. If you are performing in a round stadium with all seats filled, you have to design the stage to allow your performers to face every direction at some point in the show. This stage gave me a nasty vibe of "The only audience that really counts is either sitting on the home-side 50 or watching on TV. Those of y'all out in the endzones are outta luck.") There are ways that same stage could have been done so that the sides of the "rooms" were open and delineated by lighting; or have made the "house" 2 stories to rotate on a turntable.

As to who the show was geared towards, the answer is Rap fans who are old enough to have the kind of money to afford SuperBowl tickets.

The stage setup was typical to many Superbowls, setup to play mostly to one side.

We did not watch the super bowl we had other plans. I know... what... other plans... who knew... lol

I will say I do love the commercials... I went and took looksee at them yesterday... my favorite is the Budweiser Clydesdale... I will say that the Kia robot dog was pretty dang cute.. love the robot dog, pass on the car.

I did check out the halftime show, to see if we missed anything .. and it was just like all the other half time shows... not good or bad... just like all the others... just the same

*The camera angles are all over the place, and upside down... at first I thought it was some type of camera issue... then I realized it was suppose to be that ... 50 cent hanging upside down... LOl... yep my age is showing...

*Half dressed, scantly clad, pretty much bared butted ladies strutting all over the place with no real purpose except that they are half naked. I was waiting for another Janet Jackson moment...

I think that the half-time shows need a complete overhaul... all this technology that we have and that's the best that they can come up with...the same thing from year to year.... nothing else bring back the marching bands, and/or a huge firework show... and call it half-time... even when we watch the game, no-one ever really watches the half-time show, everyone heads to the bathrooms, there are burgers to be fixed, cocktails to be mixed, snack to eaten... phones to be check... smack to be talked...

I was born in 65 and I liked it. When California Love came out in 95 I was still single, childless, and going out to clubs.
