No kidding! This guy is nuts. I don't think that he has an iphone4 because he is acting like he has hated it the whole time and can only return it since the press conference. If you own an iPhone you would be aware of the refund with no restocking fee that has been in place for a while.
Also, apple did step up and fix this very fast. 22 days is lightspeed for a huge company to make a decision that will cost them millions and millions.
P.s. I bought three iPhones and the signal issue is a non issue for us. Proximity sensor is the only problem im having and that is not a deal breaker for me'.

Nobody is nuts. They did change the return policy. Under the previous policy you had to pay a $20.00 restocking fee for an 8 gig and a $30.00 restocking fee for a 16 gig. They have waived that restocking fee as a result of this issue.
Maybe I have a unique view point because I deal with technology all day long but I don't get the polarization on this issue. On one side you have people screaming that this, relatively minor glitch is the Death of the iphone and a plot by evil Steve Jobs to take over the world. On the other side you have mass hysterics at the mere suggestion something could be wrong with an Apple product.
The glitch exists, I can recreate it on my phone, consumer reports did extensive testing etc etc. Even Steve admitted Apple isn't perfect.
So what? ALL new technology has glitches, bugs etc. If you buy on the "bleeding edge" of technology and don't expect a bug or two you are fooling yourself.
If you aren't willing to deal with an occasional bug then quite simply you should stay with tried and true proven technology.
