Just a big kudos to MS management for helping me to rectify a situation!

I received a confirmation in the mail, and it was not what I had been told I was reserving. I called MS, and got to speak with a supervisor. He heard my story and said he would research & see if my call was recorded.

He called me back, had heard my call, and was able to confirm that I was given incorrect information by the MS agent (we're human, right).

My situation was taken care of professionally & swiftly. Thank you MS & a big :thumbsup2 to Chris!

So, advice to fellow DVC'ers...take notes! I do on every call so I can remember what was said. I never would have had him pull the recording if I had doubt that I could be wrong, which if it weren't for my notes I would not have been so sure.

A good practice that I've always used is to confirm my point status on my contracts after every transaction with MS (reservation, banking, borrowing). So right there on the phone I get verbal confirmation.

And of course now we don't have to wait for the written confirmation as we can look at our reservations on-line fairly quickly after their made.

Good for you for double-checking your confirmation. I'm sure there are others who assume everything is okay and just file it away without checking it carefully.
