Third day at DL on a Saturday or Sunday?

Hello everyone! I was wondering if you all could give me some insight. We (SO and me) are going to DLR for the first time on October 14th till 24th. We have 4 park hopper tickets. We LOVE fireworks so we really would like to watch both Fantasmic AND Halloween Screams with Fireworks so we are taking all the chances we can get to watch both of them. I have booked our 2nd day for Friday the 18th so we can catch at least one of the shows without any hassle.
The problem is I can't decide on whether to book the 3rd day for Saturday 19th (no OBB) or Sunday 20th (yes OBB). In terms of crowds late in the evening, I know both will probably be pretty bad already but which do you guys think is going to be the "least worst" option to book?

I'd go with Saturday so you aren't dealing with OBB.

I agree with Pluto468, pick the Saturday so you don't have to deal with the overflow of folks that don't have an OBB ticket at DL in the evening (after the party cut off time in DCA).

I’m gonna buck the trend and say Sunday. Sunday nights generally clear out way more than Saturdays, and people will likely “avoid the OBB crowds” like you’re thinking of doing.

I would choose Saturday. Both days are going to be busy though.

I would recommend Saturday. All the Saturdays in Oct are blocked for magic keys except the top level. So most locals will be blocked. Sunday will be busier as more magic keys have availability. But Halloween time is busy no matter what.

I agree, Saturday would be my choice. The usual rules are kind of out the window in October because it's so busy. The multiple time per week early closures of DCA for OBB completely throw off normal crowd flow - even on non OBB days.
