Thinking of trying DDP for first time in 2011...but wil MNSSHP begin before 09-29-11?

Have never tried DDP before nor have we ever stayed on site. I swore I never would but I hear so many reviews I'd like to try it so I can make an edicated decision next time we go. Our thing is, we definitely want to go for MNSSHP. The DDP ends on 09/29/11. Traditionally, does MNSSHP start before then?

Yes it should. We traditionally go to WDW during the month of Sept., never later than the 27th. MNSSHP has several dates everytime we've been in the last few years. We last went to it a few years ago. Last year we watched the fireworks from both the TTC and Poly's beach. You should be fine with your dates.

We just booked our next trip at FW Cabins and we also took advantage of the Free Dining. We check in on the 28th and will be planning on MNSSHP which we've never been to. I understand there are always dates in mid to late-September as well as October. BTW, as long as you check-in by Sept. 29th the Free Dining applies to the full length of your stay (just learned that myself thanks to the DIS Boards)

We are so excited to visit Disney in October!

We are going the same time next year for 2 weeks!!! Not sure we will do the MNSSHP or not. We loved the DLR version, but it'll depend on the budget.

We also booked a trip checking in on Sept. 29 2011 and will are getting free dinning for our entire stay. I am just going by this years calender and looks like there several days with a MNSSHP!
