Right now we - family of 4 - are booked at POFQ for the end of August. However, with the great rate at the Swan (yeah, I know I'm running out of time :teeth: ) I'm thinking about switching. One thing that I like about the food courts at the resorts are the breakfasts - especially the waffles and yogart parfaits! Is this something that I am going to miss at the Swan? The thought of having to walk to the Beach Club or Yacht Club for a quick breakfast doesn't really appeal to me. So experts what are your thoughts? All are appreciated! Thanks.

We had mickey waffles at the Swan last spring when we were there. Ordered it off the room service menu. And there was a restaurant in the lobby that we didn't go to, but you could get breakfast there. Or walk to the Dolphin (closer than YC/BC) and go to the renovated Tubbi's buffet (now going by another name that also eludes me tonight!)

We loved the Swan. The location is great. We figure if we can't stay at BWI (our favorite) then the Swan is a great alternative. If you miss the Mickey soaps, let me know -- I've got tons of them!

We stayed at the swan for the first time in February. We did have a few disney hotel longings, but the price can't be beat, the location is great, the rooms are very nice, the beds are amazingly comfortable. As for breakfast, if you walk over to the dolphin the Fresh Mediterranean Market has one of the best breakfast buffets I've ever encountered -- and starbucks coffee. I don't think you'll regret staying there.

SWITCH! You'll love it and you're right, the rate is fabulous. And, I'm happy to report they have Mickey Waffles at the Garden Grove Breakfast. They have the best food on property at the two hotels. Blue Zoo - best WDW restaurant IMHO. Fresh, Kimonos, Palo, Shulas. Even the Cabana Grille at the Pool - the best burgers on property. You don't lose the magic by staying at the Swan and Dolphin. You only stand to gain.

And, I won't even discuss the location.

Go for it. $129 - you can't go wrong. We booked it.

I don't miss anything when staying at the Swan/Dolphin.

I do miss the Swan/Dolphin when staying elsewhere tho. ;)

It's a great resort. I don't think you'll regret it at all.
