Thinking of staying at HRH NY Day? Worth it?

We have 10 days at WDW but need a room for Saturday night Jan 1-then back to WDW on Sunday until Jan 3.

Really would like to visit HPotter as long as were so close, so we started thinking of US.

Would it be beneficial to be onsite if even for 1 night? Esp pertaining to visiting the HP portion of IOA? I mean is there any early entry to that part, or guarantee you will get into that area over offsite guests?

Also wondering if there are 2 day tix so we can go in sat afternoon, then early Sunday am.

TIA.

Staying onsite will definitely be to your advantage if you want to see WWoHP during that weekend. You will receive early entry into WWoHP as well as unlimited Express for two days.
